price is great, proximity to universal and other attractions is great, wonderful restaurants in walking distance (try the Thai place across the street), and free shuttle to universal is perfect. heated pool is a plus, the gym is pretty good, clean and fresh. free breakfast for the kiddos is a huge plus, and the breakfast buffet is fairly good, tho OJ isn't included ($2 extra). the rooms are ok, not luxury or anything, shower pressure is just ok. nice to have that fridge and microwave.
Good hotel, provides fridges & microwaves in rooms. Shops & restaurants are local. Provides free transport to Universal plus additional transport to Disney. Have on site taxi drivers (Thomas & Williams) who are friendly & really helpful
Top floor in West wing overlooking the pool. Reasonable sized room, very clean, housekeeping is very good. Affordable breakfast buffet, shuttle bus to universal studios.
Rooms are clean. Within walking distance to universal which is great - also offer free shuttle service. Only negative is air con in room could be a little quieter
We got a Suite on the 9th floor which was fabulous! Very clean and spacious. We asked for extra pillows, they were placed in the room before we unloaded our car. Wow! Premium toiletries, deep tub, 3 chairs, sofa, 2 large windows etc. No complaints.
Great Hotel for the cheap price. The rooms are big and of course neat and clean. The staff is nice and polite. The only downfall of this hotel is its need a good bar and restaurant inside the hotel with great foods. Overall great hotel.
This is a good place if you're trying to do a theme park holiday economically. There are free shuttle buses to Universal, and public buses can be caught to Walt Disney World for very cheap (2$ each each way). There is someone known to reception who can drive you to Disney if you are willing to pay for the convenience. Parking is free if you want to drive.
We were well looked after during Hurricaine Irma. Breakfast is available for $6.50 + tax and gratuity. The best part is their 24 hour convenience store which is onsite and was open throughout Irma. If we were to return and stay in a hotel, we would stay here again.
Nice resort atmosphere. Reasonable prices. Definitely eat at Shōgun Japanese Steakhouse on site. International Pub on site for drinks and bar food. Pet friendly.
Harris Rosen, owner of the Rosen Properties, sets a high bar. This gentleman provided lodging for his employees and their families during the hurricane; providing both food and rooms.
He definitely earned my future business and an enormous amount of respect
The Rosen hotel chain generously offered a $59 nightly rate to Florida residents who lost power during Hurricane Irma. On the second day we stayed in the room until 3pm, the time we found out the power was restored. Amazingly they did not charge us for an additional night, which they had the right to do and could have done. We are now loyal customers for life. The staff was great, the rooms were clean and comfortable, with a good breakfast buffet. Mr Rosen's reputation for generosity is well deserved!
All I can say is "WOW! " what an amazing hotel for the price. I would recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to visit Orlando. This is a great place to stay, very convenient, great service, excellent/awesome/polite staff. Booked at the last minute for $47 a night off of priceline. The only complaint I have is that there were not a continental breakfast but the food at the restaurant there was excellentRooms are very clean and fresh.
I will be staying there again
All I can say is "WOW!"
The staff are very friendly. The rooms are clean. The downside is that the sink is outside the bathroom, but that's not a big deal. The room had a nice view of the new Volcano Bay water park. It's very convenient for this visiting Universal Studios.
Brilliant hotel. It is incredibly cheap, all the staff are friendly and helpful, the breakfast buffet is really good (you pay extra for it, but it's better value than the Ponderosa across the road) and the bar is nice. We have stayed at several hotels across Florida (all international chains) but the Rosen at 6327, International Drive ticks all the boxes. We have not used the Shogun Japanese restaurant on site, but it always sounds as though folks are having a great time in there. The fitness suite is very well equipped. You will not find a better hotel for your money.
I called the hotel an hour before arrival to let them know I would be there in an hour and was trying to decide whether to head to Disney Springs first or the Rosen first -- depending on whether our rooms were ready early. The woman on the phone asked all my information and then told me she couldn't tell me until I arrived. Then why ask?
All of that said, when we arrived early, our rooms were ready, check-in was smooth and Sage at the front desk was wonderful. The hotel was bustling with bus loads of students, but we never heard one or felt like the hotel wasn't ready for handling that load.
The breakfast room is huge and plenty of space to accommodate everyone in the morning. The tall blonde waitress (sorry I can't remember her name) was very friendly, remembering that I liked coffee and orange juice each morning without having to be asked.
Literally all of the staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was always clean, fresh, and ready for a good night's rest.
We really liked this hotel. It has a great breakfast area ($8) and the staff is awesome. The rooms are a bit small, but we didn't stay in the room that much. The pool is great and the bar area was a lot of fun. We had a great stay here. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
