Quiet and cozy.. good location, it's in the heart of downtown and one can easily reach anywhere in 10-15 minutes. The hub is next door. Anything one might need is conveniently available. Don't forget to cover your food otherwise you will be inviting the roaches over for free me lunch/ dinner.

Service is suitable to the cost you pay. Breakfast is included but very limited options. So, don't expect five star treatment for the cost of three star. It's a good option if you are just looking for a place to crash in.

A few ups and a few downs. Overall value to money ratio is pretty good. Rooms are specious flat screen TV, desk and the best is a microwave and mini fridge which many more expensive hotels don't have. Rooms are okay clean, walls have blemishes and a few spots that could use paint. Beds are moderately confortable. Overall experience was good, even though there could have been a few things done better.

This is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed!! Got this deal at last minute through tickets at work and thought might be a decent place to stay during our Universal trip. Customer service is very bad . We arrived late at night and they didn't provide us the already requested roll away bed, The bed sheets were not clean and the floor was dirty. Also for 4 adults only 3 towels were there and not even single wash towel and not enough pillows. When asked for extra pillows and towels, the front desk receptionist said he can not help and had to wait till next day 9 am .
It was horrible night for us and had to cancel the 3 remaining days.
Very cheap dirty place to stay. I will never recommend anyone to stay here.

The Floridian has a great location and that makes it great for visiting theme parks, specially Universal parks.

The rooms were ok, they are comfortable and clean enough for an inexpensive trip.

It is not the most beautiful hotel in the zone, but for the price you pay, you get a nice room.

If I come back and I don't want to spend to much in hotel, I would definitely stay again in Floridian Express.

The only downside I found is that sometimes the front desk personnel is not very polite and customer service can be improved.

The hotel isn't bad, but it isn't great either. It falls into the category of older inexpensive hotels in the Orlando theme park area. The beds were comfortable, and the door locks worked, but not a fancy room by most means. Great place for a quick trip to Orlando on a budget.

Friendly staff and room was neat. Check-in was simple and fast however upon arriving in our room there was quite a bit of dust and not enough towels for a double room. The hallway floor was sticky as if someone spilled something and it was that way the entire visit so it didn't seem to be a concern of the cleaning crew. The room was inexpensive and so I didn't expect much from the hotel itself. I was not surprised.

It is well located and it's easy to find. They are not very clean and the bathtub was clogged. The bathroom door was disgustingly dirty. There is no elevator. Oh well.. it's a cheap place You can't expect much

The rooms and beds are not the best. Its in a great area near everything. But the air in our room kept freezing up and shuting off on us and they hardly ever came with supplies also they took the sheets off the bed but never replaced them. When I'd call the front desk no one ever answers. This hotel could do a lot better especially being in the good location it is.

Rooms are very cheap looking and gross. The hotel is like a maze very easy to get lost. Dirty rooms

Proximity to universal is excellent, rooms are spacious but more on the traditional side. Service, however, was very rude. We were running late and called ahead of time to let the hotel know. They said that once it hits midnight they'll cancel our reservation. So we couldn't take any stops along the way since we were running very close to midnight. Parking was also terrible, very limited parking.

It is very close to universal which I loved it. Hotel seems to be old but in a good condition. Room service is nice and had no problems. There is no lift to 2nd floor which was a minus point for me. Breakfast was not up to the mark. Not many varieties but still good enough to say a basic breakfast like waffles, coffee, bread. Parking is good enough. Overall I would say good for the price for a long weekend.

I am currently staying here, the pictures that they show look nothing like the actual rooms. The air conditioner unit is off the wall and you can see outside. The windows have not been cleaned, there is some sort of dried liquid on them, and the bathtub still had old water in it, that has sat and created a rim. I'm not one to write a review, but this was quite ridiculous. What had topped it off was when paying for my room the woman up at the front desk was rude and ignored until other people started crowding the desk.
