This is a unique place with a cool history. Definitely worth a stop if you are visiting the area. I do wish they didn't have music playing all the time though- the natural surroundings are enough!

Ah, Rock City! One of the greatest walks you'll have without a machine in sight. So relaxing and peaceful! Christmas time and the Enchanted lights make it even better! This attraction is Christ and family centered. Bring your kids, but no strollers or wheelchairs. You can access the view at seven states with handicap accessibility, but that's the only thing you can do in a wheelchair. On a clear day, it's totally worth it!

A little bit high on their prices for admission. But it is very beautiful, a must see. I took over 200 photos. The waterfall is amazing. So many other things to see as well. Check out the gift shops they have a lot of neat things, and all kinds of goodies. We will definitely be returning with more family. It's something to remember the rest of your life and not a bad road trip from Ohio.

Rock city is a great attraction to visit year round. The daytime experience of the gardens and the views is totally different from the popular Christmas Lights which are on display for the holidays. Both are tons of fun. If you plan to visit the lights, be prepare for traffic going up the mountain, but the park is well staffed with plenty of attendants to help direct the flow. This is the kind of place you can visit many many times and not get bored.

A great place that brought a lot of great scenes and amazing experiences. The natural wonder was fantastic. The view from the top was breathtaking and stunning.
I was so impressed with the Waterfall, a view of Seven States, and the Fat Man Squeeze, a super narrow walkway through the mountain that made us think that could get us stuck as we kept walking. There was a Gnome's village, mines, artificial sculptures and formations, and the Birds of Prey show to watch Bald Eagle with my own eyes.
It was reasonably worth the price for viewing the scenes and discovering the story behind how the place was built since the beginning. However, it lacks interactive activity that could get people into, and it did not take so long to discover the whole place. We spent almost two hours to see every corner of the city. We enjoyed the place quite much.response / report this review -

Great place to walk around to enjoy natural/ man assisted sculptures and formations. The views are stunning and the restaurant selection is wide as well. Quick burger before or casual dine at the end overlooking the view either one is a good choice. Has been around 25yrs since I have been here and the changes are great. The whole family enjoys this great spot!

Most fun we had on our vacation! Walking trails are beautiful. Took our 1.5 year old and even though she tired of walking quickly it still kept her interest 75% of the time. (Which is amazing) Be careful of puddles on the fairy tale walk though, we both soaked our shoes.

Pros: Beautiful views, awesome rock formations. The trails are unique and we'll maintained. There are tons of photo opportunities. There are a couple of large family restrooms. The food was quite good despite the initial indication it may be standard cafeteria food.
Cons: The gnomes and fairyland is cheesy, but more popular with the kids. Food prices are a bit high. The kids meals do not come with a drink. Changing tables were limited to the family restrooms (at least where dad can do the changing).response / report this review -

Of the three Lookout Mountain Attractions, this is the best one!! We enjoyed trying to get lost through through the maze of pathways through gardens and rocks and along bridges. This is a beautiful area!! The whole underground nursery rhyme thing is a little creepy to me because of the black light and coloring but my husband enjoyed all the details. He photographed everything even though the lighting was poor underground. We will definitely be returning!! The gift shops are great too!!

Beautiful place! The views are amazing. Everything was clean which is hard to do in places that have too many visitors. The staff were all exceptionally friendly even the cashiers. We went on a Tuesday afternoon. Though there were quite a few people in the gardens it didn't feel crowded. There was plenty of space to spread out and to sit in the shade on a hot day. In addition, The ADA access was very good.

A one of a kind attraction! The place itself is breathtaking while also being perched on top of Lookout Mountain. You can casually enjoy natural beauty along with extensive and detailed decorations. I have returned here three times in my life and would gladly go again next time I travel to Chattanooga!

One of the coolest places I have ever been! I loved walking around through the rocks. There is a lookout where you can see different states, flags posted behind you, &walk across a swinging bridge. There is also a cave area for the Fairy Gardens. The history (been around since 1920s I think) is pretty cool but visually this is amazing. In the rock walls are sections filled with scenes from famous fairy tales. Well worth stopping and looking into each cut out. There is a large area to walk around & scenes not in the walls. On site there are gift shops, fudge, wine, & some local crafts. If you're into gnomes, this is the place for you! If you wanna feel lost in a labyrinth of rocks, this is also totally for you! History buff, wanna see the states, come here.

A pretty pretty place of interest! I came there on the last day of 2016, and also the last day of the light show. Its routes are divided into several sections, with a theme to each one.
Each one is gorgeous and full of imagination. The combination of natural scenery and artificial work can please visitors.As time was limited, I didn't visit all the sections. It was raining and my shoes were soaked with water, but I still enjoyed the attraction on the border of Tennessee and Georgia. As it was 10 pm when I was going to leave, and no taxi booking service I can use on the hill, I just asked for a couple to give me a ride. 🤗Thanks to their help, not only they took me down the hill, but also sent to the hotel I lived. I gave 5 dollar note to represent their great help as Abraham Lincoln is a great president, they accepted finally under my earnest request🙂response / report this review -

The gardens are absolutely beautiful. We showed up at about 9am on a Monday and almost had the whole park to ourselves. It was nice and shaded with plenty of underground passages that were good places to cool off.
One of my favorite parts of the park were the stone bridges and walkways everywhere. They always allowed great views of nature, which is really the highlight of the park for me. Lover's Leap is a great view too, but I absolutely loved the rabbit warren-like cave systems that the paths weave through.

Get the passes if you can make it more than once a year! So worth it! :) the fairytale part of the city is so fun And Christmas time is a sight worth taking the time to see.
They light up everything and it is so much fun with all the activities.
Be sure to get their specialty hot cocoa during Christmas time. The cherry cordial was amazing!response / report this review
