Great room, depending on what side of the building you are on, a great view as well. Staff is very nice and helpful. Rooms look brand new especially the bathroom. Will be staying there again.
We usually stay at Hampton Inn wherever we travel bc it's a consistently clean, friendly brand. That said, this was far and above the best Hampton Inn experience we have ever had. We had some trouble with the heat in our room, and the hotel staff was very helpful and kind to us. (The trouble with the heat was during the first real cold snap of the winter, so I don't think they could have known about the problem beforehand). The room and bathroom were the cleanest I've seen anywhere, and they were generous with the toiletries they placed in the bathroom, which is always a bonus as there are four in our family, and I try to use what the hotel provides during our stay (less for me to remember to pack). Beyond the usual soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and face wipe, they also provided body wash, a shower cap, and mouthwash. Breakfast was good, and the coffee was always hot and fresh. I loved this hotel and will definitely be back when we return to Chattanooga for another family vacation.
Perfect stay. Room was clean and modern. Smelled fresh. Breakfast was complete with both hot and cold options - eggs, bacon, potatoes, bagels, oatmeal, cereal, waffles, etc. Would gladly stay here again.
Had a lovely stay at this Hampton. Staff was very nice and helpful. Nice view and clean rooms. Close to a couple of decent restaurants and a Wal-mart. Also, about 15 minutes to downtown.
I don't usually write reviews, however I was blown away by the staff. After making the reservation, I called the hotel to make sure they could accommodate a 40ft trailer. Javier assured me they would be prepared.
As we pulled up into the parking lot, two employees ran out into the rain ( during tropical storm Nate) and directed us to a section they closed off for us. Neither one had an umbrella. They were waiting for us to park then walked me to he door to check in. I was blown away by the staff. They were so attentive and down to earth. The room was cleaned and bed was comfy. I highly recommend this hotel!!!
Nice newer hotel. Pool has a waterslide; awesome for kids.Rooms are quiet and nice. Great breakfast. Can't go wrong. It's close to Ruby Falls and Rock City and incline railway.
Front desk help was exceptional. I had a late check in and was tired with 2 kids so they let me on up to room and covered paperwork in the morning. That was a first and I really appreciated there professional demeanor and understanding affection.
At first glance this is a very nice hotel. The view is great and the breakfast is good as well. The fireplace area outside is also nice. But, don't look too close at anything. Our shower had mold in the grout in several places. Our room was suprisingly dusty in several spots. The fireplace area outside had a broken cover on the mechanical part of the fireplace. So any child could have easily been injured. I actually picked the cover up off the ground & did my best to secure it back where it belonged. Hopefully, these things have all been corrected now.
Hotel was clean with the exception of the grout in the bathroom. The hotel appeared to be fairly new and we'll appointed. Cokes (16oz.) at the vending machines and the front desk are $3 each. Both indoor and outdoor pools looked nice and no overwhelming chlorine smell. Continental breakfast was a little better than average and offered a wider selection than normal. Overall the stay is what you would expect for a Hampton Inn.
Very clean, comfortable and lots of amenities (great travel-gym, indoor pool, outdoor pool with stuff for the kids). Theres a complimentary breakfast but we missed it. Checkout is standard at noon (pleasant surprise)!! We also enjoyed being perched on top of a hill; it was a nice view!
Kind of tricky to find and get to, once you get off the highway. But, the hotel itself is great and the staff are very friendly. Pool was NOT warm (the indoor one) and it was June. I didn't even bother with the outside one. My son enjoyed both, though.
Food at breakfast was good - typical Hampton fare. Room was very clean, tidy and comfy. I'd totally stay here again. :)
As part of Hilton hotel chain, it is a good a hotel that needs more work on building/rooms maintenance in general. I hope they will soon replace that breakfast meatball type with something else Just can't stand the seasoning. Also hope they will sometime start offering organic food.
The staff was wonderful. Bella was extremely helpful and kind, she brought my daughters a coloring book and crayons to share and play with. Breakfast was good. The hotel was clean.
Hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The only reason I would deduct 1 star is due to the flub with the checkout time. We requested a 1pm checkout time, at the time we checked in, because I was in town for a business meeting and had my wife and daughter with me. My meeting was over at 1230 and my wife stayed behind at the hotel, so obviously if my wife and infant had to stay behind, I'd not get back until 1245. At 1205 housekeeping was at the door telling my wife that it was time to checkout. My wife let housekeeping know we were actually staying until 1. Within minutes the front desk was calling and asking the same questions. To top it off, the knocking on the door and phone call woke up our daughter from her normally scheduled nap. We weren't upset, however, I would've liked to see our request at the time of check-in be remembered when it's time to checkout.
