Decent location right off the interstate within minutes of Chattanooga. This hotel has been recently remodeled so there wasn't any issues to really speak of from a maintenance perspective. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast.is best had across the street at the Waffle House as it isn't that good. Typical powdered eggs, some kind of meat "sausage" concotion, and a pancake make up the menu along with some cereals and muffins. My eggs were actually crunchy. No joke. The lighting that they updated the hotel with is very harsh bright LEDs. From the rooms to the hallways and lobby all have a very cold clinical feeling. I guess they were going for a futuristic vibe? I hated it. Lastly the rooms are not very quiet. We had the luxury of sharing a wall with an occupied room. We wanted to sleep in and instead got awoken to the sound of someone having a rauccous bowel movement at 5am. A wonderful way to start the day! So stay here if you want. It is probably the best room you'll get in Ringgold.
It's a little pricey for a mid-level hotel bathroom sink was not cleaned properly all in all not too bad slept great beds were nice
I have stayed here 4 times. Quiet at night. Nice breakfast in the AM. We plan on staying again.
It's been my experience while staying in HIE's (IHG Spire Elite Member / Marriott Rewards Platinum Member), that they are all: well staffed / maintained, updating/modernizing their facilities and do their best to accommodate requests.
Was very good, even for an express. Recently remodeled with plenty of lighting and the front desk guy was awesome and informative. Enjoyed my stay and would stay again.
Such a WONDERFUL, beautifully renovated, comfortable, quiet hotel with an indoor pool. After a horrendous 1-night stay at the Hampton Inn down the street, we checked into this Holiday Inn Express and we are SO glad we did. Breakfast was great, rooms were comfortable, beds & pillows were comfortable, room & bathroom were clean, everything was immaculate. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Chattanooga.
This is a horrible place to go i would not recommend anybody to stay at holiday inn express. They rip people off and over charge you. Not to mention they make false accusations with no proof then charge you for it. It is just crazy for anybody to go there.
Very over priced to start with. Clean except for the stray hair in the shower and on the towel. Luckily i had the hair dryer to use until it overheated and shut off. Super cool decor in the breakfast room but it was LOUD and echoed and an obvious acoustic boo boo. not what i want in the morning. I actually like bananas in the morning but there were none. I got a glimmer of hope that there was going to be entertainment during breakfast but ths lady ended up using the broom to sweep under our table WHILE WE ATE inatead of riding it around the room.
At $22 an hour for my stay, the execs at Holiday Inn Express may think they succeeded in a profitable venture but i think that the backlash of selling a $90 room for $160 will cost them more in the long run. Certainly I will avoid Holiday Inn in the future and I tend to share my opinion with colleages and friends.
Rooms are very clean. Shower had fantastic pressure. Breakfast was good. Lots of healthy options.
Clean and spacious rooms. The woman at reception was very pleasant. It is a little pricey.
I arrived very late at night so I only spoke to the desk clerk. However, she was very nice. While it was nothing above and beyond, it was about what is expected from a hotel like this. Above all, the most memorable part of my stay was the bed. It was by far the best sleep I had gotten in some time.
