Worst service and the most UNPROFESSIONAL business ever. The first room that we were given had not been cleaned still had dirty linen stacked atop the beds. The second room appeared to have been clean but after inspecting the beds the sheets and pillowcase had not been changed. The manager would not refund any money back to my credit card and asked that I leave. If you book the room before you read this please don't sign or pay for anything until you inspect the room.

Stayed 2 nights last week and everything was very nice. Room had private patio on river and we could feed the ducks just by opening our back door. Room was very clean and well kept.
Quiet and very cozy. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Housekeeper was wonderful and did great job. Very affordable especially for being on the river.

One of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had in my entire life. If I could completely remove this place off of all booking websites I would. I was charged for two nights when I only booked one night. The older lady at the counter said that there is no way that she could help me so I had to consult my bank later after I returned home to fix the issue. This was just the beginning of the atrocious one night stay I had at the River Place Inn. The room amenities were an absolute joke. This hotel is an absolute joke. Everything about this place should turn you away. Even if this is a last resort, I'd rather sleep under a bridge for the night.

Horrible, horrible experience. Shower water drips, moldy shower curtain, broken light shade, ants, Dusty air conditioner had one control -- high air conditioner, dirty mirror, beds sqeaked just to turn over. Nasty all around, would not even recommend for my dog.

My cousin and I stayed here for a week in the beginning of August while we were on vacation. I am one of lucky ones that seemed to not have problems with checking in or prices, except for one incident where I had to get a new key card because the first one I received stopped working. The room itself wasn't sparkling clean, but it wasn't sickeningly dirty either. The air worked very well, for which I was thankful for. The private balcony had a nice view of the river, and the location of the hotel was wonderful, right in the middle of everything. The biggest complaint I had was that the housekeeping would come to our door every morning at 10 am to take our towels, and the room did not have a "Do Not Disturb" sign in it. At least we didn't sleep our vacation away. This was also the cheapest place I could find for a week's stay; I would probably stay here again.

If I could give LESS THAN 1 star I would. We booked a room for 2 nights this past weekend. We had 2 other friends who booked for the same time. I GOT THE LINK AND NUMBER from 1 of those friends. Neither of us could get the link to work so we both called the same number. They charge them $112 for 2 nights so I called to book as well. They charge me $161. I didn't realize that till we got checked in. We were told that the Red Rooster Pancake house gave a discount if we told them we were staying here. We went there to eat (11 of us) & asked for the discount & they said they don't give discounts to folks in that hotel. Said they didn't know why they were telling people that. Last but not least I was sitting in my car waiting on my husband. We were parked directly in front of room #110. The folks in that room CHECKED OUT. THEY were not staying another night. I watched the cleaning lady and man totally not change the bed clothes. They simply pulled the covers up and made the bed. I found myself staring & told my friend in the room beside us 'Oh my GodI'm going to be sick.they aren't gonna change the bed clothes, they just remade the bed.'. I sat there and watched them. They vacuumed, and made the bed up. I'm certain the woman heard me telling my friend what I saw. So what did they do? Changed the pillow cases but nothing else. Tried to act like they didn't know English! So when I went to the desk at checkout I asked why I was charged more? The lady said I called a different # from my friends. I told her nope.I got the number from 1 of my friends so we called the same number. She kept arguing with me and told my friend that I was ANNOYING HER CAUSE I DIDN'T UNDERSTAND. I wouldn't stay here ever again if there was no other place available. Oh yeah.and the wonderful picnic tables out back.you can't sit on them all except for 1 new plastic one cause the wooden onest are falling apart.

I had to book here last minute when we got stuck in TN an extra night after we checked out of our cabin and I have nothing nice to say at all. Firstly, I specifically refined my search to include very certain specs I needed, including pet friendly, which is the reason I booked. Upon arrival, my fiancé tells me there's a no pets allowed sign. I didn't go in, but if I had they would have gotten an earful. They told him we could have our dog, but they charged us $22 extra AFTER already paying for a pet friendly hotel. We have 2 children of course we got a non smoking room. This hotel room literally reeked of cigarette smoke. It was so unbearable that I couldn't sleep. The AC only worked on low, it would switch off on high. In the bathroom, the stripping along the bottom was completely detached from the wall, showing visible mold, etc. It was just awful and the lady up front was rude as hell. Don't go to this place, we usually never book anywhere because it's cheap, we would have preferred to remain in our cabin but it was booked the 3rd night. I cannot recommend this hotel, I don't care how much $$$ you're trying to save.

It was an alright place to stay. Was not bad. Small pool and free WiFi. We got adjoining rooms because we have a large family. The staff was very nice. Only issue, when we returned to the room for the night there was not a parking place. We had to park at the restaurant next to the hotel and cross the road in the rain.

They don't have shampoo or conditioner and they don't have an iron and when I went to the vending machine everything was like old or expired and they don't have a bucket to put ice in and the ice cost money, it's 25 cents. Never going here again.

Good priced rooms, On the river with private balcony, convenient to most locations. Rooms are good and was clean. Pet friendly that's a plus for me, and why I chose them. They have ducks and geese that hang out at the river because they feed them. And while they are cute to some folks. They do make noise and poo everywhere. Also they need (Do not disturb) signs in the room. But all in all I would and probably will stay here again.

Nice affordable rooms. Slightly outdated. TVS are the older ones but they work. I also think it's crazy that you have to pay for your own ice. Other than that. Beds where comfortable and clean. Bathrooms where ok. Clean but old.
