This was our first visit to Buckberry Lodge. I ran across them on google about a month prior to coming for our annual trip to Gatlinburg for the Christmas parade. Where we stayed in the past was lost in the 2016 wildfires. The property manager Katie was beyond amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. They lost all but one building in the fire and what a gem that building is. Our room was a huge suite with a picture perfect view. We will definitely be staying at Buckberry Lodge every year! Price was very reasonable too! Call Katie and she will make your trip perfect too!

Drove over 900 miles to stay here for my honeymoon. Wife and I loved it so much, we returned 10 months later with my father in law and new born. Came back two years later with my 2nd child. We loved the beautiful rooms, amazing view and absolutly delicious restaurant. The staff were amazing, and the lodge had a bouty of activities and room amenities. We cant wait for the grand reopening!

Disregard anything from previous reviewers talking badly about the restaurant and the entire staff there. The food was NOT at all cold and was the most delicious tasting 5 star cuisine I have ever feasted on. I send my regards to the chef for a delightful and very tasteful menu. Everything my server brought out was absolutely mouth watering. Our server, Matt, was very accommodating throughout the entire meal. Checking on us often to make sure everything was up to par. We stayed there in the month of November so when we dined in the restaurant we were seated on the deck where they had heaters overhead each table and also blankets if needed. I cannot rave more about the restaurant itself!! Matt was amazing and gave by far the best service we had ever received!
If you haven't been to visit, stop what your doing and make a reservation ASAP! You will not be disappointed.

One of the best places we have stayed. Everything was impeccably clean and well maintained. Loved the mountain views and the whirlpool tub. Cookies on the bed every evening and creamer and water bottles in the fridge upon arrival. Gas fireplace with easy on off switch. Friendly staff and delicious breakfast was included. Nicely tucked away from all the bustle of the town

It was a really nice experience. The staff are very friendly and respond quickly to guests needs. I loved the cookies on our bed every night. The views of the mountain are wonderful. The warm breakfasts in the morning were a really nice treat. It's quiet and I loved the firepits and drinking blankets at night time. The trail is challenging if you are not wearing hiking boots.
