Good hotel in a great location. Access to the city is easy. Needs to bring back the hot tub and beef up the fitness area.

Residence Inn Pacific highway is so beautiful and clean. Not only the place is beautiful but also the staff. From manager Chris and Steve , front desk Joanna, engineering, house keepers and all. Manager Steve helps everyone. You see him on the floor helping guests and his staff. He made us feel welcome whenever we ran into him. I also love their free breakfast and their snacks and happy hour during Monday and Tuesday late afternoon. This hotel is a great place to stay. Thank you all!

The building is old and needs an update. Shower sprayed everywhere (but down). Toilet wouldnt stop running. Lock broken on door. Maintenance man came same day and fixed everything! Maids only came twice for our five night stay. You could hear the tram/train/trolley in our room (all night long).
Breakfast is your typical good big hotel breakfast. I loved the grills by the pool. Lots of deck chairs. I liked having a full sized fridge in the room. I wish the cheap pots were not warped and wish there had been a pan. There are also coin operated laundry machines. Good place for families.response / report this review -

I traveled from the east coast (flew out of Norfolk, VA) and stayed two weeks.. I loved the room. Loved the staff. Clean facility. Best breakfast. Helpful and friendly staff.. Going back in September to San Diego and staying at the Residence Inn Marriott

The service has been fantastic! Welcoming staff, willing to go above and beyond, to ensure a smooth visit. We were surprised by the FREE happy hour when we arrived mid week. The complimentary hot breakfast hit the spot, kicking off a long day of work!

Staying at Residence Inn was wonderful. All staff were friendly and open with us. Our room was clean and spacious. Housekeeping even left us a thoughtful thank you note which was particularly special! I just loved how the rooms were set up and so organized; space is definitely used intelligently here. Breakfast was my favorite because I was not expecting so much choice or fresh options. I definitely did not leave hungry, thank you! Location was also amazing because so many places were walking distance. We walked to the farmers market and had a blast!! All in all, I'm very impressed by my stay at the Residence Inn and I would definitely return the next time I visit San Diego.

Our stay was very brief, but the rooms were well outfitted and served their purpose well. You can tell that the majority of the decor has been redone and tastefully so. There is great access to the larger San Diego area putting you only minutes away from most anything. The concierge was very attentive and responsive. For the time we were at this establishment it was very pleasant.

This was a great place to stay during my 5 day stay in San Diego. The 2 bedroom unit was clean, staff was friendly and the breakfast was good if not varied. Just a note though that the hotel is very close to the airport and a train track runs right behind it so it can get pretty loud at times especially for those rooms facing the back of the hotel.

Well-equipped rooms with kitchenettes make for an enjoyable stay. The housekeeping was on top of things, as the rooms were well-made and clean. The breakfast buffet is makes things all the more worthwhile. Location is excellent and allows for easy access to many of the sights in Downtown.

I came down to San Diego for a convention. My stay at the Residence Inn was fantastic. Clean comfortable room, very helpful and friendly staff and the location was perfect. Plus, free breakfast, you can't go wrong.
The hotel is right across the street from the Santa Fe Depot with access to the Trolley that will get you all over the city. You are also a short walk to the harbor.
