I'm not sure what some other reviews are all about. We stayed at Pacific Inn for two nights and we loved it. The prices are great (especially compared to other hotels in San Diego), the location is perfect, Pete at the reception desk went above and beyond to make us happy (thanks for the recommendations!), the room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom floor was heated and there is a year-round outdoor pool We couldn't wish for more and will definitely be back!

Great staff; friendly and helpful. Rooms are small and simple, yet comfortable. Everything you'll need for a night or two in San Diego, at a good price.

This is very close to the harbor and Little Italy. Stayed in the Jacuzzi suite. Was not too bad for the price. The floors were heated in the bathroom. Had AC, microwave, and fridge.

The motel was clean. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable but the bathroom was small and in need of a renovation. The floor tile was cracked and spongy. The toilet was very close to the vanity. The room was comfortable and staff accommodating.

I have been staying at this hotel for over 20 years and have never had problems.. Nice staff, clean room's and always accommodating even when it's a last minute trip. Highly recommended.

Completely overpriced and falsely advertised, look for another hotel if you don't want to spoil your San Diego experience. No fridges or microwaves in the rooms, the place is swarming with roaches and staff is rude and unhelpful. They treat guests with arrogance because they know you have nowhere to go after paying all that money. Don't stay here!!

Check in was quick and the front desk staff was friendly. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfy. Our restroom smelled a bit musky though, but for the price you can't really complain.

This hotel is perfect location, right near the tram and walking distance to get to Gaslamp Quarters. The room small but comfy, for 1 night stay I would recommend to stay. Went for my b-day and had such a great time with my hubby. I would come back and stay again.

We were very happy with our stay! I read horrible reviews on yelp and was worried to stay here but I am very happy we did stay. Everyone was friendly, when we arrived they did not have our reservation but they quickly fixed that and even upgraded our room. Great location too!

We were more than pleased with our stay. Everyone was very nice, room was clean and location was EXCELLENT.we definitely would stay there again and would highly recommend to anyone that did not want to spend a fortune for a room. Thank you for a great 3 days in San Diego! Sweet and simple is sometimes much better than the big hotels!!!

Third stay at Pacific Inn and everything went smooth! Left car for 2 weeks,,,flew out of San Diego to go to Mexico and all went wellstaff very friendly and professionalwill stay there again! Greg Hamby

I stayed alone with one king size bed. Parking was easy, although it's a small lot. Small but fast check-in office. The mini-fridge was wobbly and not very cold, the water for a shower was nice and I was able to get the temperature I wanted. They offer shampoo, conditioner, bar soaps, and makeup removing pads. No microwave. Coffee pot with normal and decaf options along with sugar packets. Nicely spaced room, drawers and hangers for clothes, iron and board, and multiple light options. The TV was a little blurry and the remote didn't work well so I mostly got up to turn it off or change the volume. Towels are somewhat rough but not horrible.
