The place was clean, the room was wonderful and just the right amount of space. The staff was wonderful and so helpful. The breakfast was good and there were many options available. They also have these Mix Ups on Monday and Tuesday evening. They have snack and some food and beer and wine, it was really cool. The location wasn't bad either it was a short drive to everywhere you want to be. Next time we visit Pittsburgh we'll be staying here.

We were only here for one night. An unplanned stop. The room was great & it would be ideal for someone needing an extended stay. Spacious, modern & clean. The included buffet breakfast was one of the best I've seen even though it did contain all of the usual items. Very tasty too. The lobby/buffet area was very comfortable & roomy & opened to a large outdoor space complete with a fireplace.

I have stayed at this Residence Inn twice as well as other hotels in Pittsburgh. We have to visit Pittsburgh about once or twice a year. I have not stayed in a hotel that is better than this Residence Inn. The suite was attractive, clean and comfortable. The new renovations have made everything beautiful. Everyone on the staff was pleasant and helpful. When I visit Pittsburgh for over night, I will always call Residence Inn on Bigelow first and hope they have a vacancy.

I picked this hotel due to it's close location to where I have to work. Been staying here for 3 months. In this time, Crying babies, young groups of boys and girls that are here playing sports, and a cleaning crew that is just ok. The kids are mostly unsupervised by their adults and roam the hallways yelling, screaming, knocking on doors playing pranks. It's very annoying and the front desk staff don't do anything. The building is over 17 years old and has an old heating/ cooling system. I can never get the temp in my room just right; either too cold or too hot.
If you want quiet and peaceful, you won't find d it here. Go somewhere else!!

Recently renovated. Excellent service. The breakfast bar is top notch and on many evenings they offer food and snacks. Lots of amenities. Our stay is always great here.

Another Marriott quality property. I have stayed here three times and will definitely stay again. Rooms are fresh and clean. Desk help is courteous and always readily available. They have mingle events 3 nights a week. A beautiful, spacious outdoor patio overlooks a valley. The cramped parking ramp requires great care and the hotel is arranged awkwardly, requiring an elevator ride to the check-in desk and a different elevator to your room. But, I adjusted to these easily and they are not factors which discourage me from returning.

This hotel has really turned into an awesome hot spot with so much potential and beautiful modernized space. Their renovation really makes their space feel so crisp and fresh and somehow the rooms even feel bigger. The high floors have a really urban view from any angle. You can see the cathedral of learning! It's really cool. They have a unique outdoor Courtyard area that seems like a great spot for an outdoor event. The team that works there was helpful and friendly and seemed really creative. Only recommendation to guests is to turn on the GPS to get there. With all the one way streets and one way entrance, it's easy to miss the turn in to the entrance.

Really really nice rooms for the money, refrigerator, stove, dishes, silverware. Shower was very nice and super clean (new). They are renovating which our room was basically new. The downside, so new that it was off gassing glue, paint or varnish. We were able to open windows slightly and helped with the odor. Access to the facility from the parking garage was slightly awkward, additionally vehicles over 6'8" will not fit, we couldn't not drive our truck. Breakfast was supplied (not bad at all for free) and access to the terrace was great.

The building was under construction and the hotel doesn't have its own bar. The rooms are amazing, really big and nice. Great location too.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HoteIRaven. com Booked a room here and they had the cheapest rates around

All renovated new rooms and good house keeping service. Staff is very friendly. Coin operated laundry facility and kitchen with utilities is good option for emergency use. Even the maintenance guy responds immediately.
I would definitely recommend this place for a pleasant stay.

We are staying here for a week while I'm seen at the VA hospital. They are doing a little remodeling but no big deal and we are on the seventh floor which is just been completely remodeled and absolutely beautiful. The staff is been extremely friendly and helpful and we really appreciate the free shuttle that takes you almost anywhere you want to go and pick you up. They have an excellent buffet breakfast and Monday Tuesday and Wednesday a small delicious snack in a room where you can mingle with other guest. The pool and the hot tub are very nice and they have a well-equipped exercise room. We think the pricing is extremely reasonable. We should be back in the area within the year for more treatment at this VA hospital and we will definitely stay here when we return to Pittsburgh .
