The location of this hotel is walking distance from the hospital my mom needed treatment at (mcKees) I called around to a few different places in the area! Without so much as a return phone call! 5 Alaina the direct sales rep returned a phone call within 20 Min and was so understanding! I was crying so hard I could not speak. After 3 attempts of explaining my situation and the weeks I needed she simply said “relax and I will call you right back” she called within a half hour and extended us a great deal and a safe place to be! She literally was our angel! This hotel is clean and comfortable and the breakfast is awesome! Alaina helped us along the way and made us feel like family during this hard time! With the chemo treatments and hospital stays changing everyone at the Hampton Inn was understanding and helpful! All the employees there are top notch! I can’t thank everyone at the Hilton Family enough! God bless you all and keep up the good work!

AWFUL place that is poorly managed. Go anywhere else. Absolutely AWFUL. I will NOT stay here again. Came to visit Carnegie Mellon University and selected Hampton Inn based on brand name and close proximity to the University. After a long day driving and at the University we went to the hotel to sleep/rest and recover only to find it was turned into some floor-party for kids who repeatedly were banging on all doors and running away, running and screaming up and down the halls, etc. We tried being nice and asking them to settle down, quiet down, and stay in their rooms, but that only worked for a few moments. Called the front desk to ask for help, no answer. Called about 10 times over 2 hours, still nobody there. Went to the front desk seeking a live person only to find a note on the desk instructing that if you need help, use the walkie talkie, but no answer there either.
One of the managers FINALLY came up to our floor to address the situation (after several HOURS), then called my room back, waking up my family AGAIN (because she is that much of an idiot) to say she finally did something about it and talked to the parents of the kids.
Management needs to be fired and restarted. This location is a JOKE.response / report this review -

Nice clean rooms. Large shower with good water pressure. Good omlets at breakfast. Everyone at the front desk was great.

Stopped to visit a friend staying overnight. Parking was easy, right at the entrance to the hotel. Lounge area was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the afermation posted in the elevator. Room was nicely designed, clean and airy. Would recommend to anyone looking for accomodations in the area. Very easy access to highways.

It's a Hampton. You pay for parking. It's a big hotel. They have a shuttle. What more do you want to hear? Oh. It was clean and modern. I'll go back when I can't get my usual hotel.

I loved the breakfast! Its very close to downtown we had a GREAT view. The rooms were clean, no bugs. They are small but updated and comfy. I didn't like how small the shower was. The staff are GREAT! They helped me navigate Pittsburgh and they offer free transportation.

As soon as I walked in, the reception staff made me feel at home. They were really nice and answered all the questions I had. The room looked recently updated and was nice and clean. The bed was so comfortable I didn't want to leave it. This hotel is close to a lot of good restaurants. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

One of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in. Hotel staff were awesome! The breakfast was the finest we have ever had at a hotel. Just a very comfortable and friendly place to stay at. Thank you everyone!

Amazing stay! Very clean and the free shuttle to anywhere in a 3 mile radius helped soooo much!!! Breakfast was amazing and all employees were very helpful with directions and advice on food places👌

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. Check in and check out was easy. A shuttle service was offered for the concert we were in town for which was super convenient. Staff were pleasant and helpful.
