Every room has a great view. The dining, spa and jazz lounge has me not needing to leave to get all I need. Great hotel.

It's a new Fairmont hotel. It's amazing. Great amenities and unbelievable service. We're staying in the executive suite and It's HUGE. We have 2 kids with us so it makes all the difference when travelling to have the extra space. The people here are incredibly helpful and friendly. It's right downtown so everything you need is within walking distance. Happy I reserved a room for us here.

The Fairmont feels modern and elegant walking in the front door. We attended a fundraiser event on a weekday evening and were pleasantly greeted at the event entrance by the hotel GM. The food presentation and taste was superb with so much variety of both hot and cold items. The banquet space has high ceilings, and the ballroom we were in breaks into several smaller rooms, but there aren't obvious air wall pockets when it's completely open. The Fairmont didn't miss a detail, from the attendant monitoring the coat room to the beautifully towered cupcake station. Not sure of the price points if it is an affordable venue or not, but it is definitely beautifully executed!

Came to Pittsburgh for a babymoon and stayed at the Fairmont Hotel. I had no expectations, and was pleasantly surprised by our overall experience at the Fairmont. Our experience with the Fairmont started out rocky. Even though we arrived at 4pm, we were told that our room was not yet ready and that we would have to wait. After about 20 minutes we were able to check in and found that they put us on a high floor. This worked out to be an advantage. Any doubts that I had from the check-in process were quickly resolved once we got to our room. I found the rooms to be spacious, great views, and each floor had lots of wonderful small details that told the story of Pittsburgh's manufacturing past. Each room was provided with binoculars to see the Pittsburgh Skyline. We were able to watch fireworks from the windows in the hallway after the Pittsburgh Pirates game. This is the best located hotel and made it really easy for us to get around Pittsburgh.

The final thing that put the Fairmont at the top of our experience was the surprise dessert tray and champagne the hotel provided to celebrate our anniversary as part of the baby moon. Outstanding presentation. I would stay at the Fairmont again.

For the moneyI have stayed in much nicer Fairmont hotels nationally and internationally. Example Fairmont in Hamburg Germany. That one was a true 5 star exceptional hotel in superb location. As well as Fairmont in DC. This one simply does not measure up to those at all. I was disappointed since I thought it would as nice. Too bland..nothing special. They cheapen out on design but still charged you for FULL luxury based on the name alone.

Visiting for a special occasion(anniversary). Currently here and laying on the bed before we go to dinner. The staff has been amazing and the room is clean and beautiful. I would highly recommend visiting the spa, which we did, and indulging yourself. We almost don't want to leave for dinner But are looking forward to the views from our beautiful room tonight. Will update after check out.

The Fairmont in Pittsburgh sits right in market square, which is where there are tons of unique little shops and restaurants.. really cool place. The Fairmont itself is, in my opinion, the nicest of all the hotels in Pittsburgh. It's exactly what you'd expect from a high end establishment. You are greeted immediately after pulling up to the curb, where they offer to get your luggage/bags. My room was beautiful and clean and smelled amazing. I had packed everything, and then some, so I didn't need to ask for anything. I was told upon checking in that if I needed anything at all, to call the front desk. I have stayed at several different places, but this one is by far my favorite.

New standard in hotel living! This place will ruin you for all other hotels as none will be as nice and clean as the Fairmont. Love this place. Great service and staff. The location is surrounded by great restaurants, bars and activities. Short walk to the stadiums.

Great selection of happy hour drafts accompanied with complimentary snacks. Trisha is an attentive, friendly waitress. Management could do her a solid and add another waitress so she doesn't even to wait on 20 tables alone.

This is for the Fairmont Spa. Honestly one of the best facials I have had in a long long time. Go here for a sweet escape.

WHAT WORKS WELL?
1. The staff are super friendly, from the concierge that greets you at the hotel, to the welcome staff at the spa front desk, and the aestheticians. They make you feel like they want you here

2. The services were amazing. I had the facial and a 30 minute shoulder / back rub. My husband had a 90 minute massage. Call out to Nora, Shannon, and Jessica. True professionals who knew what they were doing

3. The facilities were simple and elegant. Changing area, showers, and steam rooms were spacious and well done. Plenty of room to move around and well kept

WHAT WAS AN EXTRA TREAT?
1. Warmer to hang your towel or robe in the treatment rooms

2. Changing area had a place where all robes sandals and towels were kept. This instead of stuffing inside locker. Good idea

3. Nora did not try to scrub my face off. She was gentle but thorough with my face. Got a great face massage to boot

4. Use of warm towels during the massages were welcome treats.

WHAT COULD BE ADDED?
I really loved this place, but there are always ways even the best could do better

1. I always appreciate when luxury spas use baby cloth diapers instead of towels, with the diaper being gentler on the skin when wiping off product. That said Nora was very gentle so towels did not cause issue

2. Would have loved if by the sink there included scope or some sort of mouth wash. Helps ensure you go to your treatment with a freshly

I have enjoyed my stay at the Fairmont. Location is great, the rooms are awesome, and the staff is great too. Being that I am here for work, I just wish there was a refrigerator I can use in my room, instead of it all being taken up by a mini bar.

This hotel was excellent. It was very clean - looked new. The value was exceptional. Although I used points, the actual nightly rate was very reasonable considering how close to the city and shopping this hotel was. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The amount of shopping around the hotel was incredible.

My experience here was lovely. The room was clean and stocked well. The staff was incredible. Very kind and accommodating. I brought two dogs and the staff was always asking about them and had dog treats to offer my dogs. It was exceptional service to say the least. Will definitely return. It's also center ally located and easy to get to many places from here. Five stars!
