The room were really nice and seemed much bigger than other hotels. The employees were friendly and efficient when requesting a microwave and at the front desk. It's close to the higway so sometimes the sound of large trucks would be bother some and the hotels store was just a closet with barely anything in it, they were connected to a 711 though, but it was only open till 10 at night which kind of sucked.

Great location, right on the edge of downtown and a very short walk to PPG Paints Arena. The experience has been enjoyable and consistent throughout several visits. Helpful, friendly staff, rooms are well-maintained, comfortable, and contemporary, plus a full restaurant and convenience store connected to the lobby. Decently sized pool and fitness center with guest-only access. Fast, convenient valet parking is also available. This is the place to stay for Penguins games!

I was staying at this hotel because we had a formal event in working with the Pittsburgh Penguins. The hotel was amazing. Customer service was unmatched and everyone was so kind. Bar service was great as was the restaurant. My only star deduction is related to the fact that in my room one of the lights did not work, and it was the light in the bathroom, which was hard to ignore. Other than that Valet was awesome as well

Valet parking is nice to have but could be a hassle I get. Not for me yet. Awesome service everywhere! The restaurant was nice and had decent brews on the menu. Rooms were in tip-top shape. View was nice. Today is the first day of hockey season!

Huge room with lots of closet space! The restaurant downstairs is pretty awesome too! Nice location with plenty of food places within walking distance. I wish the bathroom was bigger and that there was a microwave in the room but other than that it was great.

Excellent hotel. We stayed here for the OSU v. Pitt football game and had a wonderful stay. Great location. Only a few minutes from the stadium and all the major attractions. The service was top notch and hotel was very clean. Would recommend staying here.

Hotel is well located for walking, taking the metro (which is right outside the door), or, driving. Unfortunately for drivers the parking is valet only and relatively expensive. Otherwise, it's clean and comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. Spacious suites. Just a bit pricey for what you're getting.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around
Centrally located. Stayed in a queen suite, massive room with all necessary amenities. Great staff that were responsive and helpful. Late night food order from the grill came promptly and cooked great - clearly not rushed to finish. Definitely would recommend.response / report this review -

Double tree is always a nice place to stay and this one was no exception. My only complaint with all Double trees is how tiny the bathrooms are. Otherwise, the rooms are spacious and really nicely kept. And who can pass up those walnut and chocolate cookies!

Terrible place to stay. The female staff are very rude and unhelpful. The suites are terrible, they're outdated, the towels smelled like cigarettes. The paint on the bathroom walls are chipped. The paint in the bathtubs are chipped. The elevators look like something from the ghetto, very dirty. The ONLY reason I stayed here was because the Marriott across the Street was completely booked while I was in town for the Hockey Game. Don't waste your time and money staying here. Go to the Marriott across the Street or the Westin a few blocks away. NEVER staying at a Hilton Hotel Again.

Great location and easy to get to. Valet was great and easy to check in with. Checking in with a breeze and front desk was very helpful and nice. When was good felt the bathroom was a little small and need a bathroom fan to help after shower. Could have had another mirror besides the one in the bathroom and the one open area. We had two double beds and most hotels offer double queen beds so unfortunately did not like that and when did hotels go from queen to double? Could have maybe made the writing desk smaller or put something else in the area of the room we were in just felt like it was wasted space.

I stayed at this hotel while attending a work function and I was impressed by the level of quality and service provided by the hotel and its staff. The premises is clean and beautiful with lovely artwork as decorations. I enjoyed being offered a warm cookie as I checked in after a long day of traveling. There is a 7-11 in the lobby so you don't have to leave the building for any quick convenient purchases. The parking structure is a bit cramped but they valet so I didn't have to worry about maneuvering through it in my large vehicle. The restaurant downstairs has a great staff and bartenders but the food selection was limited and a bit unimpressive.

We stayed almost two weeks ago for the Stadium Series Hockey Game and I don't think we could have had a better hotel or better service! Upon arrival we were actually able to check in early which was awesome. And the front desk person, Zach, was the nicest and most knowing person. While talking he gave us maps, and time, and interesting things to do around town before we could even ask.
The room was very clean and homey and the service was always great.
