Hotel was really nice. I had a suite which was very accommodating since I was here for an entire week.

This hotel looks exquisite ! when we checked in the man at the front desk was Dressed to Kill ! the front lobby is an absolutely gorgeous! We were given our room key and moved in to the top floor room which had a great View and was very cozy until the first time I went to make dinner, pulled out of pan found it dirty with food particles still on it I washed it by hand and started cooking. Made dinner for my husband, and took a dish out of the cupboard to put it on. Ack! The dish had all kinds of stuck gravy or something to it with fork marks all through it where you could see somebody had eaten off the dish so I put that dishes aside and took the next dish out and found it was exactly the same way absolutely grossed me out and didn't want to eat dinner I had just made! I had to sit and hand wash all the dishes in the cupboard and took two of them down with me to the front desk to show the counter gentlemen. When I handed them to him he said to me okay and he took them in the back. Then he came out and asked me if I needed something else, I said well yes, please have them come up tomorrow and bring me two new dishes since I'm out do dishes now. He said oh I can get you dishes and he went off to the kitchen and got me two more dishes. Yes it was nice of him to finally catch on and do that but he never really caught on to the idea that they were disgusting and who wants to eat on plates like those !?!?? Why didn't he have anything to say back to me why didn't he make any sort of offer and have to stand there and look kind of silly with him wondering what else I wanted!?!

Rooms are modern and sppears to be well maintained. I really like that the room is spotless since I did notice pile ups of dust in odd areas of the room. They have wireless internet access in the hotel and a Ethernet port with an attached wire in the room. Pros Free breakfast in the morning, 24 hour gym, small store inside the hotel, fresh coffee and cookies in the evening and some nice restaurants down the street. Cons A couple blocks away you are near a seedy neighborhood. However, if you are staying near the hotel, you are absolutely safe.

Very clean hotel. Staff is super friendly. The free breakfast was great and they offer a shuttle to downtown Newport for a low fee of $3 each way. One of the best places to stay when visiting Newport.

Beautiful room in a nice vacation spot. Free bar on Sunday through Wednesday. Free breakfast . A little hard to get to, as it sits behind another hotel of the main street. Nice suite and good service. Pet friendly.

The room was large and clean. The amenities were great and it was a nice treat to see free cookies at the check-in counter. Having a quiet room and the space was definitely worth the money. The large bed was an absolute delight and super comfortable.

    Overall positive experience!
I had a month long stay and was impressed by the services provided here. The staff is very involved and the hotel serves light meals Mondays-Wednesdays free of charge. These light meals include an open bar (beer/wine) also free of charge, along with other non-alcoholic refreshments. Hotel breakfast is solid as they serve waffles, scrambled eggs, some type of meat item, fresh fruit, yogurt, muffins, bagels, and a few other things. Rooms are modern and include a kitchen which is vital during extended stays.

BEWARE.. THIS HOTEL ONLY POSTS THE POSITIVE REVIEWS IF YOU'VE LOOKED THEM UP!!!!!!!!!!! . Our first stay was very pleasant so we decided to stay there again our second visit to New Port. BIG MISTAKE-.. Our room was very clean and lovely however our neighbor rooms, to be precise, EVERY ROOM ON OUR FLOOR, was occupied by adolescence WITHOUT PARENTAL SUPERVISION!!!! There were children and adolescence running up and down the hallways, throwing objects, SLAMMIMG DOORS, RIDING LUGGAGE CARTS UP AND DOWN THE FLOOR HALLWAY, screaming and hollering, banging loud objects, playing baseball in the hallways. it was a complete free for all and a complete nightmare. We called down to the front desk and were told that the hotel "supervision" was going to take care of it and keep an eye on it WE HAD TO REPORT THE DISTURBANCES 7+ TIMES because the noise was so unbearable and indescribable. The hotel staff and front desk did not seem to take out concerns seriously and did NOTHING to rectify the situation. The front desk/staff did not care one bit and/nor did NOTHING to to assist us in any way, even when we asked to switch rooms even if it cost us considerably more. We eventually could not take the inconsiderate, intolerable, and completely rude behavior anymore and checked out at 8:00 pm, with a 4 hour drive ahead of us.which was much more tolerable than staying in that hotel one minute longer. WE WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN AND WE STRONGLY DISCOURAGE AND DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE!!!!!!! BEWARE-----THIS HOTEL DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR GUESTS OR THEIR STAY AS LONG AS THEY GET PAID---- regardless of what their website says. CHOOSE ANOTHER HOTEL! (and we are REALLY tolerant people!!)
