Love this hotel! Clean, nicely decorated, great rooms with modern amenities! I've stayed at this location several times, won't stay anywhere else in the area. Staff will try to accommodate every request. Convenient location, close to Newport Naval Station, lots of restaurants nearby. Hope to be back again soon!

Great customer service & clean hotel! We booked a large room block for our wedding in Nov 2017. All of our guest that stayed at the hotel had wonderful experiences. All the employees were so friendly and we had a blast in the lobby

We are HH members so we love the brand anyway, but the staff here was great. From Ventura who checked us in upon arrival and very early, the note from the manager, the person who called to make sure our room was ok, everyone was so friendly! They also gave us printed directions to area sites. Top notch customer service!

Hampton Inn in Newport, was an excellent, clean Hotel. Exceptional service. All accommodations that you would expect from a Five Star Hotel without price tag. Will definitely stay again☆☆☆☆☆.

Rooms were newly remodeled, free internet, friendly front desk. Only issue we had was a questionable stain on the comforter, otherwise a pleasant one night stay. Super convenient location with a less than 10 minute drive to anything you want to do in Newport.

The location is very convenient. The rooms are nice, but I wish they had a towel rack or 2, especially since the beach is one of the local draws. Pool and hot tub are nice and both are good temperatures.

The service there was kind and answered questions with a smile. The location was perfect for my family, right next to an Apple Bees which we went out to eat in. They also offer complimentary breakfast and an evening snack. TThe hall ways were very nice along with the room. Quite roomy and the free WiFi worked just fine. I would definitely go there again if I ever visit New Port.

A typical Hampton Inn. Staff are helpful and friendly, though issues are few and far between. Rooms are clean, and housekeeping is a bit overzealous with the pillow arranging. Location is excellent if you're working at the Navy base. Not too much in walking distance, but only a few minutes from downtown Newport. Great parking.

Not a bad place to stay. The rooms were clean, the place was quiet, and the staff was friendly, but the facility is tired. The wallpaper in the halls and in our room was beat up and there was a good sized dent in the wall next to the dresser. Definitely mostly cosmetic issues, but we did have one complaint, and that was the heater in our room. The wall thermostat was not actually what controlled the heater. I don't know what the problem was but we needed to use the controls on the heater itself. Not a big deal (although it would have been nice if someone had told us that) but the heater short cycled, turning on and off about every 10 to 15 minutes, all night long. And it was pretty noisy. We did not bring it to the attention of the front desk until the next morning as we checked out, but I didn't get the impression that it was going to get fixed right away.
I'd definitely stay there again, but I'm glad that we got a relatively good rate.response / report this review
