Clean, close to waterfront. Restaurant manager was very kind and accommodating. Just few minutes drive from the gilded age houses.
I’m writing this review as I lay across the bed at the hotel 🙂
The hotel was absolutely phenomenal. The rooms are clean and very updated. Walk in glass shower, WiFi and all the small comforts that make you feel at home . The staff , whether it was house keeping front desk or the event coordinators were excellent. I’m here for a conference for Work so this was an excellent choice to have the mAriott host this event.
The hotel is beautiful, clean, modern, and comfortable. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Restaurant food is really good, too. The location is perfect for our family to sightsee, shop, and explore the area.
I loved my stay! The rooms were very clean and cozy! The town is super cute!
Nice place, the staff was great. A lot of the tours leave from right nextdoor at the visitor center. The shopping district is well within walking distance. Even for me with a slight handicap and walking with a cane. Very cool wall decor in the rooms.
The hotel is nicely situated and looks like it has been renovated recently enough to feel modern. The staff have been friendly and the food at our meeting was good. The only downside is that my room's windows face the elevators so it's a little busy at night. Overall though I'm happy with my stay.
We've stayed at the Newport Marriott several times and each visit is always perfect. The hotel was beautifully updated a few years ago. The rooms are well-appointed with incredibly comfortable beds. We always enjoy the interactions with staffvery courteous and helpful. Can't wait for our next visit!
This hotel is PRICEY (visited in high season, but presume even low season would be super high) and had it not been for points, we wouldn't have been able to stay. That said, we were thrilled we could - this place was GREAT. Location was perfect - across the street from harbor/boats and walking distance to all of the lovely downtown shopping/eating areas. Building and ambiance were lovely, all nautically themed, but very upscale. GORGEOUS open spaces and a lovely restaurant that was very gluten friendly for breakfast. Nice indoor pool with outdoor sun deck. Room was very attractive with the most comfortable bed we've ever slept on in a hotel. Bathroom was small, but well appointed with a nice shower, very hot and good water pressure. Parking is valet only. I would not hesitate to stay here again if I could afford it.
I attended a wedding reception at the hotel. As a venue it was very clean, very well organized, and the food and drink were excellent. The staff was very accommodating and professional. Highly recommend them as an event venue.
We had lunch at the hotel it was a party of 19. We arrived at 1:30. We were celebrating a college graduate. The food was very good. Service was a little slow. But she did what she could having another large party that just arrive.
Room was great. Was upgraded to a king atrium view room. Used the app to request different things and went very well. Ate dinner at the bar and the bar staff were very nice. All the hotel staff were friendly.
Beautiful hotel. The all-indoor aesthetic is an enjoyable departure from the usual experience. Service was great at the desk and the Skiff Bar, though we didn't visit the restaurant. The pool, on the other hand, was surprisingly small, but the well-equipped fitness center and the balcony overlooking the interior easily made up for it. Overall, a great hotel in a great location, with plenty of dining and entertainment within walking distance. Highly recommended.
Cozy hotel. Good amenities and bars in the hotel. Decor is great. Well priced around $150 per week night during winter stay. There's a nice fitness center and decent pool/hot tub. Friendly staff.
