Clean environment, free food M-W for dinner and breakfast in the morning. Nice pool, butGym could be better
Nice hotel. Don't try to get a taxi. Late for meeting because of it. Hotel staff very accommodating!
Stayed 3 nights, Th-S
Positives: Breakfast was good, particularly on Friday (with Andouille sausage and brie). Full size fridge and everything needed to cook is convenient, particularly if staying a week for business. Has the potential to be much better.
Negatives: cleanliness in general. The outer door to the pool wouldn't close and we found dead bugs in both the pool and hot tub. Some of the cooking or eating utensils in the room still had food stuck on. The light in the bathroom didn't work and the wallpaper above the shower head was peeling
Others at the wedding reported their rooms were in better condition, but at this price range there is no excuse for any room being like this.
Set up a wedding block here and all my guests and myself were very comfortable. I can only recommend a small change: allow somehow for early check in to be an option. I was forced to rent an entire extra day prior just to guarantee I could access the room prior to their 3pm check in time.
The room is clean and a good size. Having an essentially full sized kitchen is a great plus for business trips. Some items are missing from some rooms, but if you let the front desk know they are good about tracking one down for you. Provided breakfast is adequate, nothing exciting but it gets the job done and saves time and money. The location is very good, walkable to food options, though the road is busy so it may be wiser to drive.
good place to stay with family and kids..rooms are good enough, nice kitchen amenities. clean and neat..friendly front office staff, but some house keeping people are not willing to clean the rooms fully if we stays for long time..they need an option to get reduce their works. otherwise it's a wonderful place..walking distance to the oakbrook mall, liked dinner.
There was a lot of uncovered parking and I was able to find a space near the entrance. Walking in, I was greeted and directed to the event I was attending. I purchased breakfast, but looking back, $9 was too much to ask for what was offered. Scrambled eggs were sort of bland and my waffles stuck to the iron. The lobby had quite a few people eating breakfast and talking. There were some families around and the atmosphere was cozy. This was not my first time here and I consistently have a good experience before, during lunch, and after my event, because I enjoy the atmosphere here. The event room had water, but that's about it for accomodations. It's right by major highways so it's easy to get here quickly.
We attended a Marriage Retreat. The meeting room was clean and spacious for our 2 day event. The staff was very helpful and professional our entire stay.
Very nice, dog friendly hotel. Rooms were clean and comfortable, but could use a bit of updating (hence 4 stars instead of 5). The staff were pleasant and helpful. The complimentary breakfast had a nice selection of options. Would definitely stay here again.
The hotel served its purpose. I like Residence Inns because of the kitchen feature and try to choose them whenever possible. The room(s) at this one seem on the small side and could use some updating. With that being said the staff was friendly, attentive, polite, and willing to help. Rated it three stars but only because of the smaller size of room(s) and updating. Good location for shopping and straight line to Chicago.
Breakfast was pretty good and new pastry type each morning. Oatmeal was yummy with all of the toppings they provided (even coconut!) Kids like the waffles with the ice cream topping drizzle sauce (vanilla and raspberry).
Room was nice and plenty of room for a family of 4. Fold out couch was as expected, not super comfortable but it did the job. Didn't have sheets, blankets or pillow for the pullout but they brought them up pretty quickly when we called.
Nice upgraded refrigerator, stainless steel. Nice selection of service dishes and glasses. Coffee provided for coffee pot wasn't as good as Starbucks but it wasn't like Folgers.
