Great hotel with stylish decor, very comfortable beds and large size rooms. Food and drinks are very good. Located just a few minutes from the airport.
Great hotel that is close to the airport. Staff at the front desk and restaurant are friendly and attentive. Rooms are modern, comfortable and clean. Enjoyed the Aveda products in the bathroom, very nice touch. Good experience!
Great hotel very close to Orlando international airport. Also has long term parking for the airport at reasonable pricing. They will pick you up and drop you off. Better than parking at the airport have used them a few times.
The room was very comfortable and even though being next to the airport quiet at night. However, the hotel may need to think about me or ambient lighting at night as the rooms are extremely dark at night and requires you turn on a brighter light just to see where you're walking at night. The food is okay, don't try the calamari though. And the bar is awesome.
Picked up a friend who was staying here for a training. The lobby was beautiful. They put in the water feature the name of a convention. It was modern clean and the staff was really polite and helpful.
We've checked in at around 230pm and was told our room is being cleaned and will call us as soon as it's ready. Meanwhile we stayed at the pool area and waited for them to inform us when the room is ready. 45 minutes later I called the desk and checked if the room is ready and was told housekeeping is still working on it. 15 minutes before 4 pm I called the desk again and was told the room I was checking in to was given to another guest who just checked in. I told her that I checked in at around 230 pm and asked why my room was given to someone else. She said she didn't know I was here at the hotel. I got very upset she transferred my call to Alex who was the manager that day and he did not handle my situation very well telling me that the guest had checked in before me. Why would the front desk attendant say that that guest just checked in??? We finally got our room key close to 5pm and that's after I called Marriott Customer Service. That was the most horrible check in experience I ever had and coming from Renaissance that was totally unexpected! My expectation just dropped to zero. My husband is a gold member and I felt that was being disrespectful.
Hotel building is old, lobby is beautiful, we were in room 905, room and bathroom were clean but desperately needed remodeling. Bathroom sink was clogged and maintenance can't fix it until next door guests leave the room since "pipe drain are interconnected"! Air conditioning not working properly, still very cold at 85! Concierge lounge is small, attendant was great, food was nothing in comparison to Marriott or even Residence Inn.
Hotel is clean and updated. Was there for a medical conference, and when the conference ended, approx 150 attendees left simultaneously. The parking is gated and requires a ticket and payment to get in and out. Attempting to leave was chaos. Approx 45 minutes - 1 hour to just get out of the hotel parking lot as hundreds of cars in a traffic jam. No doubt there were people that missed flights, etc. This hotel should not be hosting conferences of substantial size as they are not prepared for the logistics of large groups leaving. Spoke with other attendees of conference and multiple phone calls were made to management during the traffic jam. They were unwilling to open the gates and allow cars through. Sent out a valet to swipe credit cards. Would not return and recommended to the meetings organizers that they not use this hotel to host any further conferences. If you are considering using this hotel for a conference, I would strongly recommend against it.
This place is nice, the gym is good with apples, and pools are big! One thing i don’t like about is they use soap for shower, i don’t feel comfortable sharing the soap with other people.
The last time I stay, I am pretty sure one of the bed didn’t change the sheets, because it was sandy and I found some hairs under the blanket!
Nice place, nice gym, close to airport and good food options around. I really like the pool area; not busy, plenty of chairs, and nice surroundings. I will say though that the hallway leading to the gym and pool smelled like a rodeo That kinda livestock, manure smell. But other than thatI good experience.
As with many hotels the structure is dated but the beds and accutraments are nice. Staff was fantastic. Airport van was on the half hour so had to wait a bit. Overall enjoyable.
First ever hotel I've stayed at where I had to pay for parking. Beautiful I admit but for the price, la Quinta is much better quality. My bath room wall tiles were cracked and they didn't even give us shampoo. Other than that, I pretty happy stay.
I assumed free parking like everywhere else but Expedia wasn't so clear. I don't think I'll ever stay here vacationing but my CE course was here so I had no choice.
I was at Renaissance for an event in a conference room. The area was clean with nice colors. I believe the corridors to be on the narrow side especially when people are waiting in the hallways. Connected nearby is the hotel lobby with a small coffee shop. There was even a piano there, which I tried. Parking is validated at the front desk
Location is great and surrounded by many restaurants. Very clean facility and staff is very nice. A five minute drive from the airport makes it convenient when hosting events such as the dance competition I attended. Parking rates are standard as anywhere else and cheaper than some other hotels. Overall a very nice hotel.
I have never had such service at a hotel. My husband and I drove up to check in around 1:00 am after our flight had been delayed and before I realized what was going on a hotel employee was opening my car door for me. The rooms were very nice, up to date and clean. Upscale hotel. You do have to pay for parking which is a downfall, it would be nice if there was another option for those who want it.
