No blow dryer, no coffee maker, no ironing board, etc. This hotel had the minimal essentials. We also put a "Do not disturb" sign on the door and when we came back 11 hours later, our door was wide open and the front desk didn't have a reason why They told us housekeeping wasn't even working that day We were less than impressed with this hotel and we will never stay again.

When I arrived they were overbooked and have me a free room upgrade. I wouldn't say that any Red Roof is great, but this one seemed better than some. I had a king bed, refrigerator, microwave, safe, ironing board, iron, and hair dryer.

Surprisingly clean and well kept for an in-town motel. Staff was helpful and professional. Waffle House is next door, so very convenient!

Very disappointed with our choice of this motel. Not much airport noise, but the air conditioner, other guests, and passers-by made up for it. We were awakened several times by arguments right outside our door. We never really felt safe here.

Inside the room wasn't any better. The bed sagged in the middle. The bathroom door had a crack in it as if someone had put a fist into it. I did have to kill an insect in the bed which was unexpected and disgusting!

Breakfast was advertised but unless you wanted just coffee and donuts, you had to go across the lot to a Waffle House. All in all, sleeping in the car might have been a better choice.

This was honestly the worst experience I've ever had at a hotel. NEVER in my life have I seen employees talk to, or treat ppl like o have been treated. There was one worker out of all of them that showed me respect. The rest all treated me like I was bothering them when I asked questions. The drink machines have been sold out the whole time I've been here (3 & a half days) and when I asked about it the employee said "it's not my fault it's up to the vending companies. I don't know when they will have more" and turned around and walked away. And my keys didn't work half the time so every time I had to get them to fix it in the office they treated me like I was such a bother. I can go on and on about how bad I've been treated but I'm just exhausted and will never stay here again. When I checked in there was 3 inches of water in the tub/shower that was left from previous ppl as well. GROSS. I'm disgusted by how I was treated mainly. The only way I would think about accepting an apology at this point is if I got a refund or a free week stay. Completely ridiculousNEGATIVE 10 STARS

This hotel advertises 100% none smoking but I could smell strong smoke that they tried to mask with air freshener. One of my kids has asthma and was having a hard time. Luckily we only stayed for about 6hrs over night and left right in the morning.

The only reason I gave this rating 2 stars is because they had really comfy beds.

Close to the highway. Waffle House is right in front of it, which is open 24/7. Rooms are nice and has two beds. The price for rooms aren't too expensive. Room service is great. Everything so far has been great.

Location is great, close to the Expo Center, zoo, and many different restaurants including a Waffle House in the parking lot. Room is clean and has been updated and has free Wifi, but it is kind of small. I would stay here again especially with the difference in price from hotels near by which were almost double the cost per night.

My husband, son and I stayed at this location due to its close proximity to an event held at the Kentucky Fair and Exposition Center, and also for the price, which was about half to 2/3 the price of the other nearby hotels. Due to the lower price, I wasn't expecting much, but the website said that rooms had been recently renovated, and the pictures looked good. The rooms did seem to be updated a bit even though the exterior of the facility was certainly showing its age, but some of the furniture was worn. I know you get what you pay for, but here are my observations: - First, I will say that the front desk staff, both at check-in and check-out were very helpful and courteous.definitely the highlight of the stay. - The toilet took a very, very long time to flush. I don't know if it is an issue with water pressure or what, but the water swirled around in the bowl for at least 30 seconds before finally going down. We actually thought it was going to overflow. Strange, to say the least. - Although the sheets smelled of bleach (so I assume they were clean) they were stained and almost threadbare. It did leave me to wonder if the bedspreads are changed between guests, though. As far as comfort, the mattresses leave a lot to be desired. All three of us had trouble sleeping and were stiff and sore when we awoke. - we had a room with two double beds that is supposed to sleep four, but we were only given two sets of incredibly small and thin towels. The front desk person gladly gave me a third for our son when asked, however, having to traipse to the lobby at 6:00 a.m. was not my idea of fun. - There is not a hair dryer in the room. I should have checked the site when packing, but I assumed the small wall-mount dryers are fairly standard these days, especially since the rooms had been recently renovated. - And, although expected due to its proximity to the airport, the noise level was fairly high throughout the night. - Lastly, and definitely what bothered me the most, was all the trash. We arrived around 4:00 pm to check in, and had to leave for our event shortly thereafter. Upon arrival, there were bags of trash everywhere, which we had to maneuver around to get up the stairs and to our room. It was a little inconvenient, but understandable due to the time of day. However, some of the bags were still there when we returned that evening and when we checked out the following morning. As I noted earlier, the price was about half of other nearby hotels. So, if price is your main concern, this location should suit your needs.

This motel has some age on it, which you can't help but notice. They've tried sprucing up the rooms with hardwood floors (that allow for a pet in the room), but you can't help but notice the bare bones nature of this motel. The sheets had stains, there were only two towels in the room (that sleeps four), and there exists a pervasive odor that most likely cannot be avoided do to the age of the wooden structure itself. The bed was literally painful to sleep on. I honestly tossed and turned all night long and didn't get much rest at all. Very meh. You definitely get what you pay for here.

Weird late night check in experience in the side entrance. Very loud and cramped for the 5 of us in there waiting. Room was clean enough , dirty and broken exhaust fan cover in the bath, pretty strange stains and worn spots on the sheets. They were clean , but needed replaced. Strangest thing in the middle of the night sounded like someone clapped together 2x4s as hard as they could outside our window. Not sure if it's really the motel's fault, but it was extremely loud. Front desk in the morning was courteous and fine. I suppose you get what you pay for, it was acceptable, but not a place I'd frequent unless I was on a very strict budget.
