Room was clean and it had everything we needed. It was very roomy and made us feel like home. The gentleman who was on the breakfast service was very helpful and amazing.
Absolutely terrible ! There appeared to be semen on the bed skirt, a hole in the bathroom room, marker all over the floor and throw up on the ottoman/footstool that had been wiped up but you could still see it and the smell of it was death ! I went to the office to tell him there was no way in hell me or my children were staying there and he said no refund because i paid online when i booked..I booked this at $189 a night so I assumed it was a nice clean place. But this dump was price gouging because of Hurricane Irma. Which was what brought us here. At that point the pinch i was in I told him he need to put fresh sheets on the bed , take out the stool and bleach the door handles and bathroom and he said he was the only one working and couldnt leave the desk . At this point Im getting mad and more patrons are piling in hearing my issue so he refunded my money which he said he could not do earlier.Moral of the story RUN FAST
I have stayed at a few different motels in Knoxville. For the affordability, Red Roof Inn was great. I also liked Econo Lodge, however, Red Roof Inns parking, room size, and breakfast were better. Cory was helpful with breakfast! Jeff's customer service was great! The bed was comfortable. TVs were nice. It was CLEAN. Hardwood flooring was a bonus instead of filthy carpet. Construction was going on but good for them for upgrading the flooring in the lobby and I was not disturbed by it. I will stay there again in the future.
Stayed here for five nights and the stay was good. The whole staff was nice and friendly. Have to give Jeff who works the night shift a shout out! Thank you Jeff for being so nice and accommodating!!
The only down fall was every time we got towels from house keeping they had hair on them so I found asking the front desk for them was better. The mattress could have been better but still not bad. We got woke up with some shouting from the room next door so I called the front desk and they handled the situation immediately. We would stay here again.
It was nice enough here. Good location off interstate. Older, but clean. They are pet friendly, too. Staff was fine for check in and check out procedure.
It is decent for the price and in a pinch. Lots of rooms both smoking and non smoking. Complimentary warm/cold breakfast is bulk buy food service quality with a waffle and pancake maker. It has eggs, sausage, bland gravy and pre-baked bagged mini biscuits that may or may not be rocks. All the disposable plates, cups, and bowls are rather small. Forcing you to either make multiple trips for food and drink, or just decline bothering making additional plates.
Again, decent for the price.
Great time. The breakfast person was so sweet. He made us feel special. The staff was nice. Last time we went the breakfast person was rude. Good upgrade. Seems you made changes. Nice
It was a clean hotel but definitely left much to be desired. The staff was very friendly and accommodating so I'll have to give them very high praises. They were very helpful in helping to find local food options and giving directions. The beds were not very comfortable and the bathrooms are definitely outdated. The towels are very thin and barely dry you off. For the pricing you can get a nicer hotel in the area for about the same if not just a few dollars more and for comfort I'd definitely recommend spending the few dollars. If you need something relatively inexpensive and immediate then this hotel is fine.
I stayed at this hotel on August 5th for a softball tournament. The guy working the front desk was great. I had a king room that was very clean, bed was comfortable, and hotel was very quiet. I mainly needed a place to sleep and shower and this location met my needs great. I would definitely stay at this location again. Easy access to the interstate and food places close by.
The location was easy to get to. It was right off the highway. It was an exit away from a few fast food spots like Chick fil A and McDonald's. I checked in late, after 11, and the front desk person was friendly and had offered good service. She acknowledged me while she was assisting the person in front of me. When it came time for me to check in she kept the same level of service and told me everything I needed to know. The room itself was clean. So I had no issues. Especially because I was only staying until the morning to get back on the road. Good experience for a short stay.
Rooms very clean. Bed impressively comfortable. Breakfest was good. Orange juice, coffee and milk are provided as well as fresh fruit. I recommend!
I gave The Red Roof inn on kirby road. 3 stars out of five because the staff their are really friendly and welcoming. The rooms and service are exceptionally well. The only thing that was off putting was that the vending machines on the floor levels specifically the drinks seem to be always be empty. I had to frequently go down to the main lobby for a bottle of water. Other then that. I would definitely go back to
If you stay here don't get the king room. The bed is hard as rocks. That being said the young lady at the front desk changed my room with no problems. She has great customer service.
I had read good reviews online about this specific hotel and had stayed at other Red Roof Inns in the Knoxville area; we had also stayed at this hotel when it was previously a Holiday Inn. The most unacceptable item was we had to ask for more sheets, due to the fact the cleaning staff changed the towels but didn’t even make the bed nor change the sheets. This item was brought to the attention of the lady at the front desk and she provides sheets that end up being the wrong size, never offers to get the cleaning staff back to the room just hands me the sheets. She did refer to the “Go Green" housekeeping services, finally after all was said and done I finally got clean sheets for the correct size bed from the maintenance guy. Never staying again.
So I did go online and looked at the “Going Green Policy” and the policy mentions "Go Green" - select housekeeping service, does this mean not changing sheets daily?
The maintenance guy and the gentlemen running the front desk at night were amazing..
