King size one bed for two nights. $64 with tax per night seemed high. Until i opened the room door and wow it was very spacious and modern. Truly feels like being at home. Red roof inn has taken things to the next level in recent years, and when you consider the kind of hotel $64 will get you from other places As far as budget hotels go there's really no comparison.
We love this place. We come here every six months when we have to take our child to Cincinnati Childens Hospital, and this is the place we always stay. It is located in a great spot with shopping and food very convenient. It is also only about twenty minutes from downtown Cincinnati. The staff is great and the rooms are usually very nice. It recently completed a rather extensive remodel and it help make it even more nice. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that it recently changed to a Country Inn and Suites. While this is not bad, it drives up the price closer to more upscale hotels, but lacks the real fine touches to really justify the cost. Basically it was a very nice midrange hotel and has become an OK high-end hotel.
Somehow managed a good room last minute, we didn't have a ride from the airport to our destination and they were nice enough to double check and made sure we had a place to rest for the night. Thumbs up to them
I stay her often. Great rooms. Great staff and the owners are very genuine.
Always a nice time Under construction at moment.. Went to non smoking but the balcony is sufficient enough. And I love jessica at the front desk!!!
Room was clean and had everything I needed/expected. I didn't expect a fridge so I was very happy about that. It was easy to find and close to Idlewild disc golf course. The kitchen was under construction so there was no breakfast. Staff was quick and courteous. I would go back.
This is a disgrace! The hotel is STILL being renovated what a joke! We came all the way from New York this is our 2nd year hear. First year, they dint tell us they were renovating and had us in the worst of the worst rooms. There were 20 of us!
This year, they are STILL renovating and only part of 1st floor was done. It was SLOPPY, paint on carpet, holes in walls, breakfast bar not equipped and only open from 6am to 9am and then closed for further notice. This hotel is a damn mess and management refused to compensate us for rooms they discounted for walk ins. At the rate they are going, it will never be completed! I was so disappointed especially since we paid high end prices for a roach motel!
Well first off there were cigarette burns all over the carpet, there were even cig burns on the toilet seat! How does that even happen? Bathroom is kinda small, but good enough. Beds were clean, but there were a few stains on the sheets. The place is going under construction so the pool is closed and there are wires running exposed in the hallways. The internet is on and off. The breakfast is ok. Other than all that stuff, the stay is nice and slept fine. So it's great for the price, would stay again in the far future.
Hotel was good for the price. They were undergoing renovations which were noticeable but didn't affect the stay. Room was clean and well stocked although latch was broke but lock worked. Would stay here again.
Hotel was under renovation so parking was bad. Nice rooms. 4 story hotel so if you get a smoking room it's a trip to your room. Most the rooms seem to have a balcony you can smoke out of anyways. Good staff and clean rooms. I will stay again
Staying here now and contemplating leaving. When we walked in the room, there was an old Frito's bag and trash scattered on floor. Bathroom tiling and flooring old with mildew and mold stains. The ceilings are patchy and paint scraping off wall. Also our room door was labeled with tape and not an actual sign. We found old cigarette burns in our sheets and called the front desk for new sheets. The front desk said we have to come and get our own sheets and would not bring them up. This hotel sucks. Even if I do decide to stay the night, I will never stay in a red roof in AGAIN!
The room was a smoking 2 bed..it was very clean and big..it had a flat screen, fridge and microwave. Staff was friendly, I bought a drink from the soda machine and it spit out something totally different than what I pressed. I took it down to the front desk and without hesitation she gave me my money back so I could get what I wanted. She took the one that came out first, but I was good with that because it was a regular mt.dew and I'm diabetic so I couldn't have drank it anyways. I got a good deal on the room, the rate was $69.99, but with my AAA card I got it for $59.99 being $66.21 with tax. Very nice stay, I would stay there again if I were in the neighborhood
