They're in the middle of interior and, some exterior construction but the results are, a nice entry room and beautifully re-done brand new room's and continental breakfast room.

This place sucks.under construction and was never told. No pool.no hot tub for my autistic daughter. And they wouldn't let us out of our reservation either. I won't be back!!!! 😠😠ðŸ˜

Just got back from our 3rd stay in the last 15 months and the BEAUTIFUL wood staircase/fireplace that first drew us in is gone! :'( There's nothing "Country Inn" about this place now. They should change their name to Cookie Cutter Inn. They're still under construction from our last visit. No pool. Room was musty this and the bathroom sink wasn't clean (dark liquid & toothpaste left behind from previous guest). Not sure we'll go back! Too bad!! She was a beauty!

Comfortable beds, and clean room. There was still some wrappers in the bathroom from the last guest but other than that I didn't have any issues. The breakfast in the morning was also pretty good.

Only giving a one star, because you can't give none. My grandmother stayed at this hotel. She was promised a hot tub, pool, etc. When she arrived she walked into full on construction. A couple in front of her flat out left because of what they walked into. She went up to the front desk and was met with very rude employees, who told her that she could not cancel, and they could not do anything. When she went to her room, she was faced with disgusting black mold on the wall by the a/c, uncleaned vents, and the pool and hot tub were closed. They woke up the next morning, and went to the desk to tell them about their room, and they said there was nothing they could do because they had already slept there. My grandmother contacted Expedia, where she went through, and they sent in a request for a partial refund, and she got a response from Expedia saying that the hotel denied her request, and when they tried to contact them again, Expedia said this hotel had a strong decision statement to deny their second request. It's crazy that they can take advantage of people like this. Her total stay was $263.02. Do not stay here.

Just got back from a great weekend! When we first pulled up we were a bit skeptical since there were signs of construction but we were quickly reassured by the front desk as they graciously took us to our room for inspection. We stayed in room 222 which was a kick to our old school ways and it was so clean I had no trouble kicking off my shoes and relaxing. Everything was spotless from the hallways to the room and everyone was so friendly. You could see the pride that the staff takes in their hotel from Laura who took great care of us and our room to the wonderful staff at the front desk. I read several reviews before I booked and I had mixed feelings about the hotel until we arrived. Some of the reviews were just ridiculous if they stayed at the same place I did because I have nothing but positive, positive things to say about this hotel. The breakfast was also fantastic! The fact that I was eating off of real plates with real silverware and glassware was refreshing. So nice not breaking a plastic fork trying to eat waffles! You can also get free movie DVD's from the front desk if there is not alot on TV or bring your own for the kids because every room has a DVD player. We love Coney Island and the Belterra Racino so this hotel is just minutes away from all the action!
I just finished booking us for the 4th of July weekend because my husband has not stopped talking about the wonderful sleep he had here. We will see you guys July 2nd!!response / report this review -

I made this reservation several months ago. Didn't know they were planning on being under major construction at the time. The staff is friendly, but the pool and jacuzzi are both closed and heavy construction begins at 0700 each morning. I'm sure it will be nice later this summer, but for now they should offer substantial discounts for not having the amenities they advertise.

Staff is very accommodating & very friendly. The hotel is going through major renovations. So they are working on making it much better. In the meantime, you don't have access to the usual amenitiesPool Exercise
