The room was neat and clean. Ebony and the new trainee at the front desk were as friendly as can be. Whatever they spray in the rooms smells lovely.
We noticed a few planes that made plane noises when we first arrived, but after that we didn't notice them at all.
Good value for what it cost.
So, I recently booked a 2 night stay at the RED ROOF INN ALBANY AIRPORT hotel on November 3, 2017, which was last Friday and Saturday. I left there Saturday morning due to an infestation and a unsanitary, horrific experience at this hotel because they have bed bugs. The towels and wash cloths were dirty as well. I am extremely upset that none of the employees at this establishment do not have any care or concern for my family and myself about this matter! I spoke to many employees and they all are telling me that management is refusing to me a refund my 2 night I paid for. They're also trying to play with my intelligence and trying to convince me that it's not BED BUGS. This is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE!!! I need you guys to understand my issues as if it was your own families staying there. I mean for goodness sakeswe had a child with us and they were crawling in her bed as well. I do have pictures and videos of the hotel room with the bed bugs there. I just spoke to one of the representatives today and they are actually STILL try to convince me that it wasn't bed bugsreally are they serious?? Ladies and Gentleman, if you ever needed a place to stay in Albany NY by the airport. I beg you for the sake of yourself and family DO NOTI repeat DO NOT ever make a reservation at the RED ROOF INN ALBANY AIRPORT!! My ratings for this Inn are POOR.
Nice hotel. The rooms have been updated to match Red Roof's modern styling, however the building is in the style of an old motel. Rooms were clean and we'll furnished. The staff were friendly and informative.
Good Red Roof, good location, close to the airport but I didn't hear any planes once inside my room. Close to the highway. I stay here when I am in the area, several times now and will stay again.
Great experience for pet owners. They have plenty of room to walk them. As well as two pet areas. Beds were decent. And the staff was friendly. All for a good price.
Very affordable and surprisingly modern rooms. They must have redecorated and refurbished the rooms within the last 10 years. Very clean and there is a mini fridge and microwave if you have leftovers you want to eat or a frozen thing you want to heat up. There is also a small coffee maker in the room if you want to make your own coffee in the morning. Very close to many different chain restaurants as well as a shopping plaza. I highly recommend especially if you just need to stay for a night. Bed was pretty comfortable and the temperature was easy to adjust to your liking. The woman at the front reception was also very nice.
The staff were very friendly and helpful when we interacted, even offering to let us print boarding passes when we asked for directions to the nearest print shop. The room was cool upon arrival, as the air had been on, making it comfortable for our prompt bedtime (our flight arrived at midnight). While the room looked as though parts of it had been broken and later repaired (a lamp above the bed had signs of being reattached) it was clean and served our purpose. The bedside clock was incorrect and the strip of three outlets beneath the bedside table, at first a pleasant surprise, only provided one working plug-in. There was an elevator to the second floor if required, and overall the stay was pleasant. Though another guest mentioned waking to the sound of planes, I slept undisturbed.
I have stayed at The Red Roof Inn on Wolf Rd in Albany almost every year for the past seven years. With the exception of one time, I have found This Red Roof Inn to be very convenient to just about everything in Albany. The Rooms are excellent for a Few Days Stay, and The Staff is exceptional. I was especially impressed with The Service, and Kindness shown to me by Lauren. It's my First and only pick of a place to stay when I go to Albany from Jacksonville, Fla. You can't go wrong with this Red Roof Inn. Enjoy. I do !! Robert Jacksonville, Fla.
HORRIBLE!
Called on April 17th, asking to speak with a sales manager. Female I spoke with was rude, difficult, and argumentative. I left my name and number, expecting a call the next day.
Called the next day, spoke with Letoya and Tonya; both rude, difficult, and useless. They yelled at me, called me names, and hung up on me. I called back to speak to a manager, and they hung up on me each time (7 calls total). The manager called me, and I explained the issue to him. he didn't seem to care, and after speaking with him, I understand why the ladies were so rude.
TL;DR: Terrible customer service, STAY AWAY.
I have been an overnight resident at a Red Roof Inn several times in the past. To say I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the room for the price is an understatement. The room was even fully equipped with a microwave and mini-fridge. Things I would need to request from other chain hotels/Motels.
Room was neat and slightly dated. You are next to an airport so occasional planes at night. Biggest annoyance was the 24 hour drive through and truck parking. Literally the sound of deisel engines all night! I would not stay there again!!
Descent place. A little pricy for this type of hotel. Nice Staff. Deadbolt in room did not work. Room smelled like smoke in a non smoking hotel. Good location.
Comforter (duvet) with stains (don't even wanna know). Bathroom with hair in tub and on towels. Room was modern but needs better cleaning. Housekeeping is lackluster at best. Girls at front desk were nice. No coffee maker in room. Otherwise ok if you're just staying for a night or two and not a clean freak
