I never saw that old exterior with doors partly broken made of carton. The bed covers were burnt with cigarettes and you can hear every word behind the walls. We went for breakfast in their restaurant and the lady was serving food was the rudest person ever. She almost threw food on our table giving us two forks for three people and never approached us with any coffee refills, etc. my husband ran after her five times or so and left breakfast unfinished after such a treatment. She then threw the bill on our table and when I did leave the tips and thanked her, she ignored me completely. I also recall how she mimicked my accent when I thanked her for breakfast. That rudeness and racism is the worst I ever experienced in any state. Their prices were messed up being stated differently in different menus but don’t dare to ask for clarifications. You can’t seat outside and eat despite tables and chairs outside. I can continue the list but try to avoid this place if you respect yourself.

Lots of bad reviews here. They must have renovated because the rooms seem pretty nice. Perhaps they aren't finished and some of the rooms are still dated. I definitely had a good experience and was happy with the customer service. I would recommend this place if you're looking for a cheap place to stay near the port or airport.

To whom it may concern and also all customers. This review is about our stay at Red Carpet Inn 2460 State Road 84 Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312 on 12/10/17. The stay here was terrible, unpleasant, and the manger Ann Marie was very unprofessional. I can say the employee at the front desk Robert was very professional and tried to help us anyway possible he could. When arriving to our room within an hour or two we notice roaches had began to start crawling out from behind the bed. My girlfriend immediately called front desk and reported it. The guy Robert immediately sent housekeeping down to our room to visibly see for herself and to confirm it. Also I took pictures. The lady housekeeper immediately called Robert and said yes it is true the room have roaches. So I went down to guest services and talked to the guy Robert about our situation and also said we can step outside so I will not be telling Red Carpet Inn business out in the opening. So Robert came up with the solution he could move us to another room in a upper level due to the fact the manger was not in and will not be there until the morning time. When arriving to the new room my girlfriend, two kids and I notice the sheets and comforter had yellow, red stains, and holes in them. Once again made a call to Robert and reported it. Robert had housekeeping come down to the room and change the sheets. It took housekeeping a hour and a half to two hours to bring sheets and comforter. Also he noted everything that occurred in both rooms to his computer. I called in the morning 12/11/17 at 9:00 a.m to talk to manger. I spoke with a lady the manger Ann Marie about the situation and was trying to see about a refund we had proof from the employee that it was roaches and also pictures as well as the pictures of the sheets and comforter. Basically she was saying there is nothing she could do and had to wait on an exterminator. So to all do keep in mind you do get what you pay for and do not always try to be cheap even if it is for one night. Me and my family had to shake out all of our clothes out of four suitcases and still hoping we do not have any roaches in our belongings to where we could possibly take them home with us.

They were very kind and thoughtful of my wife and I. They picked us up from the airport and took us straight to the hotel for Free. We also had a free shuttle back to the airport the following day. They have no continental which stunk but the room was nice and clean especially for the price. I'd stay there again if I needed to. The only downside was they had cockroaches in the room. My wife saw 3 as she turned on the A/C the ran under the bed.

    Good service and clean rooms.
We booked two rooms here for the night before our cruise on Holland America. After reading all the reviews, I was not looking forward to what might await us at this property. Our experience, however, was totally opposite to what I had read! The staff worked very hard to make sure our check-in and stay was good. The rooms were clean, bright, and up-to-date - i.e. tile floors, green tropical plantings, very nice outdoor pool, etc. A word of caution, however, concerning the trip to the Port: While the Inn provides FREE shuttle service, we waited over two hours in the heat and risked missing the ship's departure while waiting for the FREE shuttle. A call to Yellow Taxi showed the rate for four or more passengers was $12. Total for all of us! My advice is take the taxi instead of waiting in the heat! I would recommend this hotel with no reservation whatsoever for a one night stay. Various shopping is available within walking distance, as well as restaurants even though there is one attached to the hotel.

Awful service. Also, they want a $250.00 deposit when you ck in. Can you imagine. The Ritz Carlton requires a $40.00 deposit and that is a 5 star hotel. Matthew in font desk is a very rude person. No manners at all. This hotel is a dump. Watch out!

Where to start. maybe with the blue rubber gloves that sat on the picnic table outside our room for 3 days, the amount of stray cats that roam the property and climb on the cars, the pool full of dirt and debris, the restaurant with the slowest waitress and worst food, the toilet that doesn't flush properly, the shower that goes from scolding to freezing without warning, no microwave, and no refrigerator so if you leave anything on the table and are gone for a hour at their restaurant you will come back to your room being invaded by ANTS, no complimentary breakfast, and pretty sure we saw a drug deal go down right outside the restaurant. We booked for 4days, but went left by the 3rd morning. We booked a beachfront hotel, with 2 pools, free breakfast, 2 beds, microwave, refrigerator, and only cost $7 more per night than that disgusting hell hole. If you must stay in the area, go to rodeway inn. They have free breakfast, a cute gift shop, and a better restaurant.

Location was good for the desired purpose of proximity to both airport and cruise port. The environment was clean. There were always fresh linen and towels. The rate was not bad. The Internet service was weak. Was hardly able to complete task. Otherwise, it was good with the exception of some employees that can take some more training in customer service.

Reasonable pricing. If you live in the tri- county area, they do require a large $250 deposit. Or room was awesome. Very clean, comfy bed and pillows. Bathroom was immaculate. Only downfall, when we got there the pool wad closed for plumbing issues. Very nice staff. The restaurant sucks and is overpriced. Go down the street to Lesters of you want good food at a good price.

Very quiet. There's not a lot of problem tenants around here. Even though the pool was closed for water issues, the pool area is beautifully landscaped and a nice place to relax. The staff here is great and helpful as can be. Downside, no microwave/fridge amenity.

Very clean room. Accessible power outlets. Could use low flow sinks and shower heads. Beware that room was tiled with no carpet. Lot of empty space in my single queen room. Could use a large round table. Friendly desk crew.

Came as a surprise for Mother's Day weekend with my son, daughter, and husband. Loved the swimming pool in the past. Its usually very quiet and a friendly enviroment. BUT Discovered black mold and algae filling the sides and 6 foot area of the pool. Terribly disappointed. I refused to get in nor allow my children too. Hopefully the problem is fixed before someone gets sick.

The other reviews are a little bit harsh for no reason. Service at the front desk was great they were funny and pleasant. The bed is GIGANTIC and comfortable. Room is clean and spacious. Price is very reasonable and I'd stay here again. Negative reviewers need to calm down, there's nothing wrong with this hotel for the price they ask.
