It was clean and the staff was efficient and friendly. The rooms are dated but serviceable. The location is good and convenient although the neighborhood I'm not sure about.

The motel is fine. It's a simple room in the heart of downtown. For the location, you can't find a better room at the same price.

SO MUCH MOLD! If I could rate negative stars I would. Stayed here with a group of friends for a show. Booked for one night but it is honestly a health hazard to do so- and we even brought our own sheets + towels. There was a VERY large growth of mold in the air conditioning unit that made us uncomfortable even turning it on. Between that, the stains and dirt all over the beds, mold growing all over the balcony, and the floor outside rotting/melting molding away, it was too much to handle. Basically if you like mold - this place is for you! If not - do yourself a favor and never stay here. If we had felt more safe in the neighborhood at night, we would have slept in our cars. Also it wasn’t the green fuzzy kind- it was a knarly white/black ickiness.

Great room, friendly staff and perfect location . Honestly I don't understand the complaints about this place. Given the price, it's really good - this is a fine place to crash, it's not a hotel you pay to enjoy, it's a hotel you pay to have a roof over your head and enjoy the city it's in. Nevertheless, wifi was great, there was food nearby, a decent pool Admittedly the shower box itself could use a renovation, but it wasn't that bad.

This is a motel, NOT a hotel. .. Where do we begin?
1: the place feels dirty. Marks and scuffs everywhere. A little fresh paint goes a long way.
2: this place hasn't been updated since the day it opened. Everything screams 70's. All I can think of are the thousands of people here before me using the very same soap scummed faucet.
3: definitely not worth the out the door $90 cost. Better off getting Airbnb if there's no place to stay.
4: will not stay here again.

We had called three times and asked about early check in. All three times we were told we could check in at 2pm (2hrs early) upon arrival (1:30) we registered and were told in one hour our room would be ready for check in. We took the news with grace as we were obviously early. Well we came back at 3:30 to check in (an hour later than was stated our room would be ready, 30min till regular check in) and were told very rudely might I add that our room would not be ready till 4pm. Either stand by what you tell guests, or do some house cleaning, and fix your customer service!! Obviously both would be to much to ask.

Mike is the firey front desk guy. He alone is almost worth the visit. The hotel is in need of some serious updates as it smells and there are stains through out. Pool was nice though.

I wouldn't even give it a one start, but had to choose at least this. I was very disappointed from the start. I arrived a little early and had to wait for my room, When I ask where the restroom was, I was told there was not one in the public waiting area, only in the rooms and that I had to go to a business across the street. When I got to my room, and saw the bathroom I was very shocked and disgusted to see how run down it was. I had to move rooms, due to bathroom having leak under sink and the whole front of shower tiles came off when getting into shower. Black mold under tiles and was disgusting. I called and was put into a new room. Same thing, Bathroom was horrible. The tub and sink were a mess, rotten and molding base trim around the sink. Walls peeling and falling onto ground. I did not feel comfortable taking shower or really even going into the bathroom. Very unhappy with how run down this Travel Lodge in downtown Orlando, FL is. Will not recommend of come again.

Only wish we had a mini fridge and a coffee maker that produces more than a single cup at a time. :( Other than that we love the downtown location.

This place was close to where we wanted to go by a couple of blocks. The attendants were nice. The rooms were very old and dirty. The hallway carpets had many stains and there were many different smells as you walked towards the entrance. Our shower/bathroom was not properly cleaned. Leftover soap and hairs in the shower. But it was close to our event. Only reason why I'm giving 3 stars instead of 2.

Service was spectacular, room was nice, clean, and brand new tv which was really nice. Pool was awesome and open all night which was the best part of our stay. I hate when places close their pool!

This place is a joke. Bed bugs, disgusting rooms, no laundry facility, hookers bringing johns in at 2am, I could go on. However, considering the price, that didn't really BUG (pun intended) me.

What pissed me off was I left my iPad in the room, I called the employees to retrieve it, and THEY TRIED STEALING IT! Tried telling me they couldn't release it without proof of purchase(how are you gonna tell someone that have to prove it theirs to get THEIR stuff back), and had to go back 3 days in a row to fight with the EXTREMELY RUDE employees.

They don't care I just spent $150 for 2 nights there, they're just like "nope can't give it back to you without proof".. the employees are complete low lives who are just as disgusting as the hotel they work in.

Needless to say I'll never stay here again, and it was ridiculous that I had to threaten to call the police just to get my iPad back they wanted to steal FROM A CUSTOMER! Low life theives. BOB SMITH, go to hell.

It was horrid. Rooms smelt strong of urine and more. It honestly smelled like someone had overdosed and died. When we checked in we asked for extra towels/washclothes when we took them back because we wouldn't stay there, the towels/washclothes were put back on shelf with clean ones!! If I had a dog I wouldn't let it stay in that place. I suppose if you are looking for drugs/prostitutes then this is the place for you! But the gentlemen at the front desk was very polite and friendly. If that helps.

Never stay herethis place is dirty, smelly, very dated and suspect as to cleanliness. Will likely never stay at any Travelodge anywherethey should be ashamed to have their name on this place. Location is great but they need to upgrade this place immediately. We didn't even take a shower in the morning, we just got outta there fast. I do give credit to the staff who were very pleasant.
