My Rio hair stylist is just FABULOUS! She listens to what her clients want, and she is very knowledgeable about the Redken line. Her haircuts and blowouts are amazing and they will last for days. I could not imagine going to anyone else!

Just moved from Dallas and had to find a new hair lady! It can be very scary finding a new hair stylist when you've been used to the same one for awhile! Emily was amazing! Did exactly what I wanted and also very nice and fun to talk to! Definitely will be going back!

Rio hair studio was a place I found by just researching places to get a good cut around town. I live at the beach and wanted a place near work as it is a little more convenient. Rio has been a pleasant surprise for me as I have been getting my hair cut by Jessica Brooks for about a year now (wow time flies). The presentation of the business is well maintained and very professional. Ambiance is pleasant even if you have to wait an extra minute. Margo is always quick to offer a glass of water or beverage, which is appreciated even though I rarely take her up on it. Everyone is mostly smiling and open for conversation, I enjoy visiting Rio. Thank you ladies and I believe the two gentlemen for all of your hard work.

Krystal Burr is my hero! She does amazing work with color! I'm always afraid when going to a new stylist because you never know what to expect but as soon as she said hello, I almost instantly felt comforted. She has such a bubbly personality and is great to talk to. I get a certain dark reddish-violet color in my hair and most people can't understand me when I explain it to them. She instantly knew the color with my vague explanation and it turned out spot on to what I wanted! I couldn't be any happier! Another thing I'm thrilled about is, my hair NEVER holds a curl, she made the curls hold! I don't know what kind of witch craft she used on it but it worked! 8 hrs strong and still holding!!! Now about the salon, it is located in a little shopping area amongst a few restaurants and other stores. Parking is a bit scarce but if you get your appointment early it shouldn't be an issue. The inside of the salon was very nice and I was greeted and taken care of promptly. I definitely would recommend this salon to anyone asking about one!

Whenever I go into Jacksonville, I always make a point to stop and get my hair cut and styled at Rio Hair Studio. I did not have an appointment this trip, and I was assigned to Dani to help me out. They explained the online appointment system so I will be good the next visit. Dani did a great job listening to how I usually keep my hair styled and she did an amazing job getting my hair just right. Dani and all the people who work at the salon are very personable. I sipped some wine while getting my hair styled nothing better!
The salon is beautiful! I feel like I am at a resort! :) I will be back in 2 months on my next Jacksonville trip!response / report this review -

Total Home Solutions did a great job communication and being flexible with our schedule. They did everything they could to accommodate what we wanted and answer our questions. We are really happy with how the whole thing came out.

Our new finished basement looks great and we really like the clean and neutral look. We are happy we don't have to be disappointed with the damage that our heavy rains have caused the last two or three years here.

I love Rio !!! Since my first visit over 4 years ago, they have done a tremendous job. Friendly relaxing atmosphere with all the help you need to pick out product for my hair type from their great selection.

Overall I've had AMAZING experiences with Rio and my stylist, Krystal. The atmosphere is great, you're greeted and offered a beverage as soon as you come in, and I've never had to wait more than 2 minutes to be seated in my chair. I couldn't recommend it more highly.
Krystal has done an amazing job on my cuts and colors. I've done all-over vivid dye, as well as multi-step lighten and vivid. At other businesses, I've paid nearly twice as much before for results that were half as good. Krystal is friendly, accommodating, and overall just a cool person to sit and chat with. Once, I came in with a drawing of the hairstyle I wanted (since I'd never seen anyone else with it), and she was totally down! She captured exactly what I wanted. Another time, I came in unsatisfied with the way the dye had taken to my hair (my hair just doesn't agree with this particular brand). After asking me a few questions to make sure it wasn't a problem with my maintenance routine, she agreed to fix it, free of charge, using a higher quality dye.
TL;DR -- Krystal is awesome, Rio is great, and I highly recommend them!response / report this review -

The workers were so friendly! Even though I didn't have an appointment they took me. I had to wait less than 5 minutes. Love my haircut. I highly recommend going here. Also I recommend setting an appointment. They are usually busy.

Seems like a decent place, nice looking clean but dam! If you make an appointment feel free to try and keep it. When I make appointment for 430 and its 530 and I haven't been seen it tells me you lack the experience to schedule accordingly. Inexperience in a hair stylist isn't a good attribute. Maybe she will become the greatest stylist ever but she isn't learning on me. We left after 1hr past scheduled time. Lady at front counter also had some burned out Orange hair. Not a good sign. I get that everyone thinks they are super important but these people need to realize if they closed tomorrow nobody would care. They better tighten up and do some self evaluation.

SO HAPPY!! My hair was completely ruined/damaged by another Jacksonville salon (Frangipani Hair Studio) about 7 months ago and I've been trying to bring it back to life ever since then. Now that it's no longer breaking off, I decided to give Rio a try. I was randomly paired with Kris for a haircut and she was AMAZING!!! She insisted on doing a dry cut so no unnecessary tension would be put on my hair. She invested time in education me on hair tips and ways to prevent further damage. I really felt valued and welcomed. Also, my hair looked SO MUCH BETTER! Now I won't let anyone else touch my hair but Kris :)
