I was skeptical at first because I had never been to this salon before and having natural hair I was afraid no one would be able to help me. Raquel proved me wrong! She washed, detangled, cut, blow-dried, straightened and trimmed my hair in less time than it takes my usual stylist! On top of that, she was lovely to talk to and the salon prices CANNOT be beat. I recommend any natural ladies check this place out and request Raquel! If she can do my hair, she can do anyone's!

I've been going to this place for almost a year now. So far the best student i've had is Ashley S. She has the PM potential to succeed in any PM salon she will be going to. She has the "it" as a PM hairstylist/hairdresser. Sad to see her move on since she is graduating in a few weeks. But sure wish her the very best in the trade. A lot of the instructors in the school have the talent and skills in PM that's why they are there. For the kind of service I get (haircut, color and highlights), the price is reasonable because if you go to a PM salon it would cost double or triple what you're paying for here.

Christie is amazing! I have come to Paul Mitchell many times & have been amazed every single time! Today, i made an appointment 2 hours prior to coming in, & i was so fortunate to have Christie do my hair today! She is very professional, educated, and knows exactly what she is talking about! She wants none the less but to help educate you on how to care for your hair as well as make you look absolutely beautiful by the time you're walking out the door! I left it up to her to decide what to do with my coloring today, & she simply amazed me!!!! It looks beautiful!! I will be following her to her new salon! :)

Getting my hair done now for the first time in 3 years! Could not have asked for a better experience considering I don't enjoy getting my haircut. Tony did a great job putting me at ease and taking care of my hair! Overall staff was very welcoming and friendly. I would recommend Paul Mitchell to my friends!

Perfect location and friendly people. The teachers attend and review each step in the process and the student stylists work hard and learn a lot. I was thrilled to help the education process in a future stylists career. The price point is great too- Come see Kaitlyn Mordecai for some great foil work!

The products are pretty great for being professional and cruelty free. The hairstylists are all upbeat and friendly. They are also very knowledgeable and prevented me from melting my hair off. I have come here for my perms, but today I am doing color. So far, i have not had a bad experience; therefore, i will continue to come back.

The only place I would consider getting my hair done. I started using the PMTS in Charleston and loved the experience so much that I found the one herein Jacksonville when I moved. The students are so professional and do an incredible job. And it puts you at ease knowing the teachers are there to help them out. There's no where else that you could get this quality of service for the cost!

This was my second visit. The first one didn't go so well. But I loved what I got done by Jewel during my second visit. She listened to what I wanted and made it happen. I've gotten many compliments already on my hair. I'm definitely going back again!

I have been going to PMTS for years; first in Columbia, SC and now Jacksonville, FL. Every time I get my hair done, I am impressed with the attention to detail these students and instructors give to my hair. I get amazing results for a quarter of what I would pay in a salon. The only suggestion I would have to you is prepare to spend more time for your service than you normally would. These are students and they are learning, the instructor will check their work as they go and assess their work at the end to insure that you have beautiful hair when you leave. All of that adds up to extra time, so just be prepared. It is worth it!!!
