Amazing food and atmosphere. Tacos are very tasteful and has valet parking. If you come here please tip the waiters and valet for thier fantastic service!

Nothing negative to say about this place. Great taco and drinks. They decor of each room are really well done. Tons of staff so you normally get your food and drinks fast. Complimentary valet parking if you want. They text you when your table is ready because the wait can sometimes be a little long but it is well worth it.

This is our favorite Mexican restaurant hands down. My favorite tacos are blackened scallop, bang bang shrimp, carnitas and the $10 Taco. Don't worry. It's only $5. If you order the Mexican street corn, make sure everyone else ordered it, tooor you will have to share it. It's amazing. The salsa is the perfect mix of heat, savory garlic, tangy lime and fresh cilantro. In case there is a wait, they have awesome outdoor space where you can sip on a 'Rita. Bonus: free valet all the time. If I had to change one thing, I'd change to thinner chips to go with the salsa. It's just a personal preference.

My fiancè took his mom and I here last night and it was my first time ever visiting here. The tacos were fantastic!! Everyone was watching the jags game and cheering (they won). It was very nice and super clean, the service was great! I will definitely be going back and highly recommend you go try their amazing food too!!

This is a newly discovered Mexican restaurant for me. We went with friends a couple of months back, and it was really good. They have great margaritas, and lots of tequila options. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. If you're looking for a quiet place, this isn't it, but otherwise I would highly recommend TacoLu!

My girlfriend took me here knowing it was my first time and oh my goodness! The taco options were new and exciting and very budget friendly. The staff very laid back and prompt. Needless to say I left with a very good first impression!

Love this place. The steak and brie tacos are my favorite. Despite the fact that it always seems crowded we've never had to wait more than a few minutes for a table. Service is quick. I will say the last time we went the valet had me park my own car in the next lot over which sort of defeats the purpose of a valet. But really good tacos.

We drive 30 miles about once a month to eat here. The food is great and the prices are GOOD too. We have eaten here with a party of 9 for under $75. The atmosphere is energetic and inviting. The decor is what you would expect.

Love Taco Lu! The food is great. The draft Dos Equis Amber is cheap. The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is how noisy it is. That, and I find the folks at reception cam be less than welcoming. The wait staff has been consistently good and friendly every time we've been.

Just ordered for 30 people and everything was ready in less than an hour. The manager on duty, Heather, was amazing and made my experience exceptional. It goes without saying that they also have the best tacos in Jax! That combination of Customer Service and food is a rarity.

Ive been a patron for over 5 years. Over this time, the quality has continued to decline. In my last and final patronage, the food quality was at an all time low. The guacamole had zero taste and was a little sour. The taco ingredients were bland and lacked the flavor. They are definitely not catering to foodies any more and focusing instead on rapid table turn over.

Hate to rant, but this is the definition of sacrificing quality for quantity. Interesting and inspired tacos are now void of flavor, personality, and consistency. You will never get the same taco anymore. Service that used to be speedy and attentive, is now slow at best and leaves you feeling more like an inconvenience than a customer. A fun unique atmosphere is now cramped, overcrowded, and LOUD. People pour out of every entrance, pack the outdoor seating area, and seat yourself bar tables and top are filthy and impossible to reach. So sad to see a beaches institution go this way.

I only recommend if going to get drunk and spend a lot of money on that otherwise not family friendly. They are more of a bar than a restaurant.
A 2.5 hour wait for some tacos that was not even worth the wait , I for sure will never go back. After seeing larger groups sat ahead of me and my family I asked for a manager! Instead I got a lady that stated she owned the place she was very rude and condescending she talked with her hands and assured me she did not open the business to piss people off and if that was the case she should have made it point to come by my table to see how my expierence was and to ensure it was worth the wait but she did not and on top of that they sat my family of 6 at a table for 4 ! Go figure meanwhile the tequila shots continued throughout the bar.
That's the worst $100 I've ever spent for some tacos that's for sure. Poor customer service and food.

Busy on the weekends, but the staff is great at getting you in and seated. Great food and drink menu, be sure to check out the taco specials. The Mexican street corn is good, although not on a cob.

They are super helpful for those with food allergies!!! The servers know exactly what you can and can't have and are willing to get you exactly what you need!
