This hotel is ready for a makeover. it's inexpensive and there is a reason. While we were there, large group of Asians on a bus tour occupied most of the hotel. The breakfast room was packed all at once.
Me and my fiancee stayed here for a little getaway to Salt Lake City. For the price the rooms are nice and cozy. The wifi is okay and the free breakfast is great.
Very friendly and welcoming staff. Location is right off the freeway and noticeable. Breakfast is from 6am-9am. Great variety and choices. Gym is decent as well as the hot tub. Rooms are plenty spacious for 2 people. Very clean hotel too. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and it was a great price too.
When I first walked into my room it smelled like cigarette smoke keeping in mind I had asked for a non-smoking room. I went back to the front desk where the attendant kindly gave me a different room without hesitation. My second room also smelled like smoke. I'm betting every room does because they probably haven't changed the curtains or carpet in years which is the only way to really get rid of the smell. The walls don't block any sound either so pray you don't get loud neighbors. All in all, not my best hotel experience.
Definitely not the same kind of room that you see advertised on the websites for the hotel. Our T.V. didn't work even though it was a very nice flat screen tv and we couldn't get the hotel front desk to ever answer the phone to get some help with it! Housekeeping never did come to clean the room for us either. So over all I'm saying that I overpaid for the room that I was given since the T.V. didn't work and we were ignored by both housekeeping and the desk when needed!
Great staff. Nice hotel, dont let the outside fool you. The managers and owners of this Hotel care about their business. I recommend that anyone choose this hotel as their hotel.
This is NOT a 3 star hotel!! Our room smelled like mildew and urine. They didn't offer basic personal supplies at the front counter. The hot tub was gross with black things floating all around. We asked for 2 extra towels and got them, but were shamed by the guy up front. I do not recommend and will not be staying here again!!
We just needed a place to sleep while on the road, we didn't expect a 5 star suite but this was horrible. We arrived late, checked in there was a $100 incidental fee which is more than I paid for the room. Elevator smelt like sewer and had gum stuck in 2 different spot on the floor. It had clearly been there a while. Finally got up to the room, key didn't work. Had to leave the other members of my party with all of our luggage in the hallway at 1:00am to go back down and try and fix it.
When we finally got in our room it was blazing hot we set the temperature at the lowest it would go and opened the window the coolest it got was 80 degrees. Floors were dirty, you could see the dirt and horrible out dated as was the bathroom. There were bugs it the tub.
When we went to check out in the morning and told the front desk about the AC there response was "K" and walked away. I would have preferred to sleep in the car at a rest stop. I got a better sleep driving in the car the next morning anyway.
Very easy to find. The hotel is very clean and the staff very friendly. The bathroom in my room is fabulous, very spa-like and honestly a super pleasant surprise!! Super close to very good, affordable transit. Great place to stay if you come to visit Salt Lake City!!
I was here for a weekend. The location didn't do the inside justice. The lobby was very nice. The rooms were great. I had two queen beds, a nice television, access to a fitness center and swimming pool. The breakfast was decent, although, I would suggest not getting a room near the dining room.
My stay period is 1 month.
So far I am able to ensure you that staff is super-friendly, except some room service ladies (took some of my stuff I needed for reimbursement).
My room had everything I need, so no complaints on this.
Good Wifi which is important for me as I have some work on weekends.
The breakfast is ssdd, but I am fine with this, plus there's Denny's and WinCo foods nearby.
Fair 4 stars
This is a decent hotel. They lock the front doors after 10 PM which is a little annoying we are trying to get in and out checking in. The front desk gentleman seemed flustered and busy and he was quite brief. The room was clean and well stocked except for a small stain on the floor that is a little sticky and the wall by the bed that has some wear and tear on it.
The bathrooms are clean, it has a pool and jacuzzi!water at the front desk and complimentary breakfast in the mornings. The building is a but old and feels a tad tiny relative to some other hotels (as if the architect reduced the standard floor area to save in money or so such), but overall its wonderful for the price you pay! Enjoyed my stay!
If you don't have any other options this hotel will get you by. Otherwise seek a different hotel.
Breakfast is the same everyday and slightly above warm. Had smoke alarm go off all night with them lying about getting a maintenance guy out. Have signs saying they are saving water so if your towel is hung up they won't replace it, so I hung it up daily and they still gave me a new one. Left cleaning supplies in the room. Threw out some items I needed for the trip home. First day eating breakfast i got to hear a manager talk to an employee about another employee and how they wrote them up.
Best to go elsewhere.
Hotel seemed older but like it had been updated recently. Rooms were very clean and had nice furnishings, bed was comfortable, although it was a bit cramped with so much furniture. Breakfast was great. Overall we were happy and would stay there again.
