The hotel is centrally located and well serviced by transport and entertainment. Included in the hotel is a very comfortable lounge for social or business meetings and also provides evening drinks. The Sabre bar and dinner venue is professionally serviced and high in quality.. Should we be in Chicago again, and being professional travellers, we would most definitely stay again.
This hotel is gorgeous!! My favorite Kimpton property in Chicago. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms feature a stunning bar wood door with a mirror, huge showers, plenty of space to move about.
The gym is really nice and fully functional for business travelers and there is a pool as well! Both are located on the top floor with expansive views of the city.
Meeting space is lovely and flexible. The wrap around terrace makes such a difference. The chandeliers are my favorite feature.
Stayed here for the Chicago marathon and I couldn't rave any more about this place if I tried! Staff were amazing. The amenities were on point. Most comfortable beds and such a central location. Also the hotel restaurant is top notch too!
This is a very nice hotel with very helpful staff. The rooms were very clean and well-appointed. Centrally located in River North, so it is easy to get anywhere in the city in a short period of time. would stay at this hotel again.
Really nice hotel clean rooms friendly staff. We came from out of town let us check in early even gave both of my sons a little gift bag. Location was great we went to wrigely field red line station was across from the hotel and hotel was close to the magnificent mile.I would stay at this hotel again.
rooms were a little small but we knew that going in. 5 stars for what it is!!! everything was clean. the windows opened, bed and pillows comfy, big enough shower, chill staff, a/c functional, slightly tacky but kinda adorable decor. again, everything was very clean and functional. modern decor. what else do you want in an affordable hotel downtown really?
Love Kimpton hotels and this one did not disappoint. Friendly and professional staff. Start off with the valet welcoming us as though we were old friends. Next, we meet up with the desk clerk and she was super friendly and totally excited for why we were visiting Chicago.
Our room was wonderful. Great style, very spacious and awesome floor to ceiling windows.
Location is great too. We were a short walk or Uber ride from where we wanted to go.
Will definitely stay here again!
Great location. Staff was super friendly. The drinks at the bar attached to the hotel were excellent and were better than lots of other places around the hotel. 2 min walk to shopping. Would definitely stay again.
They were very attentive to our needs, understanding and patient while we figured out the hotel. The people at the front desk had positive suggestions for food and gave the time and attention we needed for our stay. The pool was warm and the fitness center open and welcoming.
Centrally located. 2 blocks from the magnificent mile. Attention to detail is the name of the game here. Upbeat staff, well appointed rooms. Happy hour with complimentary wine is awesome. Overall a great stay. Highly recommend.
I have been to the restaurant, Sable, multiple times. The menu is creative, and I have always enjoyed the food. However, it is the bar that makes this place special. They have an extensive collection of wines and liquors. The mixologists really know their craft and seem to enjoy what they do. When I can, I prefer to sit at the bar.
I was impressed by the staff and quality of service from the moment we set foot on the property. The valet service is slightly higher than neighboring lots - but the convenience was worth it to us. Our room was in a corner (ending in 01) and had a decent view of the city, with two corner windows facing south and east. The rooms have an abundance of electrical outlets to cover our needs. The sliding bathroom door was somewhat heavy, but not a problem for us to open or close, and the furnishings were all clean and in good condition. The hotel offered a complementary wine tasting in the afternoon which helped us relax after arriving. The staff was able to provide good guidance for a dinner location, as well as recommendations for routes to get around to various activities in the city. We also enjoyed the breakfast; the options were adequate, and tasted fresh. The only negative is the nearness of a fire department a block or two away, which you could hear sirens when they were called out. This wasn't a big issue to us, but light sleepers may want to get a higher floor or get a room without a south-facing window. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and the hotel will be our preferred choice on future visits to Chicago.
Hotel is located downtown. There are several restaurants within walking distance. A 7 eleven and grocery store within 2 blocks. The rooms are spacious. The bathroom shower and bath are the largest I have ever seen. Employees go out of your way to make you feel special. Even got small gift bags for the kids
