We had a high up king with a view The room was clean but the cleaning product smell was over kill with a mildew smell. There were no blankets on the bed. No refrigerator in the room as promised. No robes as promised. All of those were resolved with one call. We had a view of the city and the river from our room but at the end of our hall we had a view of the lake. The breakfast in the downstairs area was sub par, runny eggs, dried out sausage. The omlettes are good though. The check out process was easy but be prepared they take a $75 deposit. The location is perfect, located close to everything. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Call the valet service for your vehicle as you are checking out and expect to wait especially on a Sunday. Overall I may look for another hotel to stay at in the same area that is more luxurious. Hyatt used to be one of the best hotels to stay at service is a 10 but atmosphere and room cleanliness and luxury scale is a 5.
This was my second time staying here. Amazingly modern lobby with chic decor and completely professional staff. Awesome rooms with an amazing view. Awesome experience. Will visit again. Just awesome. Great part of town.
Impressive hospitality and service. The atmosphere and views of the cityscape are delightful. The restaurant has a good selection, and is priced decently for hotel dining. The rooms are clean and comfortable, although I wish there would have been a refrigerator in the room, other than the mini bar which could not be used for personal items. Also, room service ends at 11pm, but there is a little market on the ground floor that is open later. The staff is excellent. Great overall experience, and I recommend this hotel.
They goofed the room type but quickly fixed the issue. Housekeeping did a great job. The room was really nice and clean. Everyone working there was kind and helpful. Nice open areas to sit in and work, charging stations for your devices. Plenty of places nearby to sell you whatever you need.
Wife and I had an amazing anniversary stay here with a beautiful view. Staff was very accommodating, and we loved every minute of our time in this hotel. Location was excellent. Oddly enough, the hotel deep dish pizza that we ordered through room service was some of the best I've ever had. So delicious.
Great view of the city and river. Lots of open space to hangout, and thoughtful selection of outlets for charging electronics.
Busy, but reflective of how many people want to be there.
The living room and gallery collection areas aren’t packed, but offer great space for families that want to have a place to gather and eat. For example we got Giordanos pizza and ate in that area.
TVs broadcast all of the games you would want to watch.
Here the Becker Health IT Summit.
Hotel staff was amazing when I checked in. He was patient, accommodating, and welcomed me.
Alvin in security was engaging and helpful when I asked him for directions. He engaged me in conversation and even asked how Houston was doing, extending his thoughts and prayers.
This will be my go to tho it's expensive. However, worth every cent of comfort value
When I first purchased this hotel I was unsure about how it would be. It had 4/5 star rating but had never been to Chicago before. When I arrived I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Not only was it gorgeous but it was huge and had different places to get food and there was a convention center under the building where a meeting was happening. The staff was super helpful and even upgraded us which was incredibly appreciated and kind of them. It made me extra happy to stay here. Our room was beautiful and had a view of the river but was also high enough that it was quiet and felt private. The only down side that I could find is that the restaurants are very expensive and looked like they were amazing so I left each time to get food. Other than that, a great stay and hoping to stay there in the future.
Great locating for getting to a variety of local places. Blocks from a nice selection of stores. An assortment of food in every direction. A short walk up Michigan Avenue and you can reach public spaces or Lake Michigan. Rooms are nice and accommodating. Just don't touch the snacks unless you're ready to buy them.
Very good for excellent. Although old, good service. Restaurant with menu not varied. Breakfast is far from a 4 star hotel. Expensive for the service and facilities. Well located, between the east and west, north and south, close to major tourist attractions.
We could not have been happier with our time at the Hyatt Regency. Hyatt is such a quality hotel chain a day this Hyatt Regency in the loop was no exception. We felt totally st ease and cared for. Concierge included some small perks that we really enjoyed. Our room had an amazing view also! It's location in the city made it easy to grt to and from our activities downtown. We will definitely visit again!
The inside of the hotel was not at all what I expected from the outside. It was very modern and much bigger than I thought it would be. Staff was very friendly. Rooms were very clean as was bathroom. I enjoyed the unique layout of the room. Very much enjoyed our stay! Breakfast at the restaurant was delicious!
Excellent service, front desk assist us greatly. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Checkout was really easy. My packages got delivered in perfect conditions. Totally recommended.
I'd have to stay a few more nights to write a more encompassing review but based on my over night this week, there's definitely some things to like about this facility. The lobby is very inviting, the bar pours a good selection of beer and the cocktails are what you'd expect. Sleep quality - at least for me - are where the stars came off. The walls are so thin that you'll be blessed to tell whether the person beside you had 2 pints or 3, or whether they enjoy German or French porn: yeah, they're that thin, like, I'm waking up with you at 430 when your alarm goes off thin Seriously, why can't hotels figure this out: some sound insulation and soft- close doors, and this would be a good night's experience.
