Retarded security policies; not allowed a nail clipper but a sharp metal pen is just fine. You don't even take off your shoes, which could be used to hide something not metal. Gotta give the visual of security for idiots thanks to other bureaucratic jerkwads. Can't believe taxes go to fund this. There's so much distance from security and the actual doors that anyone who actually was a threat could cause something.

Chances are, you'll be spending a lot of time waiting and spending a lot of money; plan accordingly. Staff is courteous and the facilities are always spotless. They are very generous with their jury duty waiting area.

It's ok. When you come here for any service expect the wait times to be very long. Do not bring anything that resembles a weapon or it will be confiscated and you will not get it back. Make sure you arrive 1 hour to 1.5 hours early to you appointments as the security screening line can be long.

If i could give 0 stars I would.the judge Michael Murphy it's unfair and shows favoritism. This judge take the law as a joke. He need to be remove from his position. It looks like He don't take the law serious. How can a mother get away with not taking responsability of her child and its ok with him.one judge says put her in child support and denies what the other judge revomended.same woman tries to get the father fired from his job,the father goes to court with proof from texts and a letter from his boss to trespass her and he denied it as well. How is that judge still in office?

Horrible system, over-worked, under-trained staff. This Dept. considers your time worth nothing, and that you should be thankful they are there to "allow" you to drive, pay them and wait on hold while listening to loops of public safety tapes. It is a horrible thing to get stuck in their twilight zone, where no one knows what to do with your issue.

I am the Bishop for the Dioceses of Florida, Independent Old Catholic Church. Talking to a human is almost impossible with this office. The Clerks office is giving out wrong information and against Florida Law. I conducted a wedding for a couple from out of state that was told they must bring back their marriage license to the court. This meant renting a car and getting through traffic. Florida Law clearly states it is the Officiant responsibility to return the marriage license. I trust the Clerk will inform all staff. Florida statute 741.08
The officiate is required to send the original license back to the county clerks office within 10 days of performing the ceremony.response / report this review -

Why do the make it so hard to contact a dept. at the Courthouse? Even when you are able to find the extension from the automated message it then goes to a fast busy signal. When someone is calling they need help and Orange county Courthouse apparently does everything they can to hinder your progress. Sadly if this was a company in the real world they would out of business in two days at most. Sad that we pay taxes to support this type of bad conduct.

This is by far the most user friendly clerk's website I've ever used. Moreover, the call center is very helpful. This is the gold standard of clerk of courts.

Definitely the best interaction I've had with a Florida governmental facility! The security guard at the information booth was kind and helpful, offering more info than I asked for, and gently reminding me to get a number before I ran out to the car for something I'd forgotten. The clerk who helped me was also very kind and warm, and got me in and out lickety-split!! So refreshing!
