THE CASE MANAGER OF THE FIRST FLOOR WAS LAZY ENOUGH TO LEAVE MY LOVE ONE WITHOUT AN OPTION. THE FOOD IS OK, THE PRIMARY DOCTOR WAS ON HARRY TO DISCHARGE MY LOVE ONE. THAT'S WHY FLORIDA SOUTH EARNS JUST ONE STAR. SUGGESTION TRY TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THE LIVES OF THE PATIENTS AS CHRIST DID WHEN HE WAS ALIVE. BECAUSE IT TAKES ACTION THAN WORDS.

Came in for a procedure for my son. It was a little scary but the staff were amazing. They explained everything and kept me up to date during the entire process which made me feel comfortable. The procedure went well and the discharge was quick so we're happy all around. Everyone was super friendly and the place was clean too. Hopefully I never have to come back but I believe I'd be in good hands if I do.

I was admitted up to the transplant floor of Advent health and can genuinely say that I’ve had superb treatment. I’ve had THE most considerate nurses. I feel like in a time of anti-intellectualism as an immune compromised person it’s hard to know if people will appreciate the urgency of your needs, but they never fell short. My nurses and the staff that made this possible, namely, Andrew, David-Paul, and Nickesha went out of their way to not only provide treatment, but compassion and comfort. I love that they were drawn to this profession because they have all the skill of proper bedside manner in addition to always being on the ball; they saw me as a “whole” person and gave me “whole” care. It takes a special kind of person to work in the house where sick people live and spirits are always down.

I took my daughter to the Advent Health ER clinic in Lake Nona. We were checked in by 2 receptionists, we interacted with 1 security guard at the front, we interacted with 1 RN who conducted a quick assessment of my daughter for no more than 5 minutes. She used at most 1 glove, looked at my daughters injury and said she did not recommend any treatment. That was the total extent of our visit, no testing was done, no medicine was given, we did not even use a bandage for her injury. At most my daughter sat in the bed in the hospital room so you could say they needed to clean the sheets and sterilize the room. We were in the building for less than 1 hour and given absolutely no treatment, just 4 employees worth of time for less than 1 hour each. Advent health has subsequently charged us $1,500 and climbing for no care whatsoever. I have attempted to follow up with them to resolve the overcharges and have received no feedback other than “that is how it works”. This is not acceptable and is a disgusting abuse of a perverse medical system where there is no accountability to those of us needing medical care. Their attitude is to utilize our emergency, like our fear for our daughters health and extort us after the fact for every penny they can squeeze for it. They are not forced to proved a statement of care and costs that we can verify. It’s simply, get them through the door and charge whatever we please. This company is an atrocious, despicable institution perpetuating all that is flawed in the American health system. Anyone seeking medical assistance should never consider Advent Health, you would be better off not getting medical attention then going to this place that will exploit your vulnerability for pure profit.

My dad was brought here for care. The staff here are helpful, kind, and very attentive. They respond quickly to request. I have never been in a hospital this great. They answered our questions. Best hospital ever. Thank you.

Very good experience overall. Good customer service training. But, why would you close your gift shop at 5 pm on Friday, and all day Saturday, when these are the best times for visitors to visit??? If it's because of the Sabbath, are ALL your gift shop employees 7th Day Adventists? Because obviously, all your nurses aren't. Very frustrating for visitors who can only visit after work on Friday's, or on the weekend. Lots of overflowing trash cans just outside main bldg.

The E.R here is a joke. They don't swab or test u for viruses or infection. They don't weigh you or anything. They rush u out and are not friendly. The young people on staff were flirty with each other and standoffish to patients. The nurse practitioner in triage did not want a bed for me and prescribed me a prescription which I had to pay full price for and sent me out the door. I'm still sick And not better, she did not check to see if I have a flu or bug or strep. She said it looks like it Maybe and sent me with the basic penicillin. Do not recommend this E.R! Go twenty minutes to FL Hosp Winter park! They are much more Attentive and will have a bed for you with privacy!!!

Visited my God daughter at the Walt Disney children's Pavillion and it seemed nice. private rooms.. space for families.. great little children's are downstairs by lobby. always looks clean and spotless. no complains from parents either so far

I had an outpatient surgery this past week at this hospital and from the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out everything was amazing. The hospital is so clean and beautiful. All the nurses and doctors that I met were very friendly and informative. I felt safe and comfortable. I would highly recommend this hospital for surgery. Thank you Florida hospital for making my experience better than I expected.

I went to ER due to a bicycle fall. I cannot say enough about the staff as I was waiting and being treated at different times. The nurse who checked me in could not have been friendlier, The ER nurse AMANDA R was wonderful. She is a take charge person and was so kind and nice to all the ER patients she had to handle. They ranged from Baker Act to overdose patients to someone in a bar fight! It is a very sad environment when you look at your issue and see what others are dealing with..it really puts things in perspective. The ER doctor was wonderful and saw to all my needs. I can't say enough about Florida Hospital on E. Rollins St. I felt like I had made two new friends in the nurses who I encountered during my visit. I wish them good luck and thank them and the doctor for all that they did!!

Literally the worst hospital I have ever been in. My wife was extremely sick in the emergency Room and the attending doctor asked me how much we prayed at home .I was flabbergasted The audacity of someone that you believe to be trained in the field of medicine has absolutely ZERO to do with my religion. She was not dying or anything but he proposed that if we had prayed we wouldn't be there at all.They take their religion very seriously at this hospital and if you don't follow the enlightened trail that they do they will not give you the same treatment that they do a pastor or someone in the church .I would crawl on my hands and knees to another hospital before I ever go into this religious hellhole that they call a hospital .Medicine and religion have absolutely nothing in common. Be a church or be a hospital, don't be both.

Went in to the ER with a big knot on my back. The doctor had to cut it open. They were very nice and explained everything to me before they did it. The wait might be a bit much at times but they are a great hospital.

They really deserve no stars! If you or your family member has cancer and/or multiple issuesRUN AWAY FROM THIS HOSPITAL! GO SOME WHERE ELSE. Doctors do not communicate with each other or with patient's families to ensure everyone is knowledgeable and informed. Doctors quickly come in and out like they are not dealing with human beings. They rack up on unnecessary and non-priority procedures, tests and labs and do not communicate results. It was the worst hospital experience ever and this is mild compared to the experience we had with specific doctors. I would never recommend this hospital to anyone!

The religious overtone is a little much but it is Florida Hospital. The services were good after waiting in the ER for 30 minutes after being hit by a car. Had to get some screws in the ankle and stay for a few days, the nurses were excellent!!! Made New Years a pleasure.

All of the doctors, nurses, cardiologist, etc went above and beyond, making sure they gave excellent care.. Could not be any more pleased with the care he was given
