Management rude and arbitrary locals have to put up an outrageous cash deposit and they try to keep it. Ice and soda machines not working. Could be a great place without the attitude from management. Closed due to hurricane damage. If it reopens hopefully it will have NEW management

DON'T STAY HERE. Upon arrival, the lobby looked OK and the staff was friendly for the most part. When I came up to y room, the horror movie began. The elevator window was cracked and there was no floor in it. Hallways were dirty and looked really old. Our room had a flashlight for the light. The floor was dirty and the whole place smelled like the AC was leaking. The bathroom is really dirty and is a place where i would rather not shower. There is a good view however of the beach from the balcony which is ruined the by the 5 min. of opening and closing the door every time. The breakfast is a pain and there is not enough for everybody. At least during the day you can take a break on the beach. Glad that I stayed for only one night.

Loved it. Stayed for a month a few years back. Good prices and all rooms have a good sized balcony.

The hotel is not super. But there are pluses. Located on the shore of the ocean. It has a decent pool. as well as a shop on the ground floor.

We were greeted by being asked to check the room before checking in. They said that some people are "picky", well apparently it's picky to prefer a carpet that had been vacuumed! Another guy warned us before we even got back to the front desk not to stay, because they'd had horrible service. Never will stay, it had a strong smell as well but I don't know if it was mildew or not.

Well what can one say. Ocean front rooms have really nice balconies but guess what? They shut closed by management claiming it is effecting the air conditioning of the hotel. Lame excuse since we had a hard time sleeping because our room was warm and humid and same goes with the other tenants around us that we asked.

    Staff: very professional and friendly
Building: rooms are old but comfortable. Sad to see why anyone would leave this hotel to rot this way. It's a beautiful building that still has so much potential.

Would I stay here again: no I would not. Only if it was my last option
