Very clean with friendly staff. Great views from our ocean front room. Can't beat the price. Not upscale but very quiet and updated rooms and facilities.

The staff was friendly and welcoming to the group that I was a part of that stayed here. Unfortunately, the building is slightly old and not as "fancy" as more commercial hotel properties like Hilton, Marriott, etc. The cafe staff is kind and the food is decent. The property has direct access to the bench. The parking is plentiful for guests.

The staff is great. The hotel is clean but it is extremely old and can definitely use an upgrade. I’ve stayed in better hotels for less. The view and beach access is what you are paying for so don’t go expecting anything luxurious. Another thing, I thought that I would have 2 queen sized beds but they appeared to be full sized or double. When I mentioned it to the front desk clerk, she assured me that all the rooms on the property had queen sized beds but I was not convinced because I sleep in a queen sized bed at home and it is way bigger. So if you’re only interested in access to the beach then this is the place for you. I will not be returning.

I would: Try it once, as I did

An older hotel that has been partially upgraded at the time of my visit (October 2017). At this time it was semi-operational due to the recent hurricane Irma.

Very friendly staff.

With plenty of free parking and a great location off of A1A.

Definite outstanding view from the balcony.

Pool area was basic with no food/drink service. The positive side of this is that there is no music/noise in the evening.

Furiously good cold A/C.

No other services (like spare toothbrushes, lobby coffee or breakfast).

Slow and old elevators.

My husband and I just stayed there for our eighth time. We absolutely love it there. The front desk staff is great. We had breakfast every morning in the diner downstairs. We always feel like we've just came home. Looking forward to our next vacation there!!!

We stayed at this hotel in July for a family vacation! And loved it! So then my husband and I decided to come back but stayed at The Ocean Breeze Club in September because it was just a little cheaper. HUGE MISTAKE! It made us appreciate Tropical Winds even more! I will spend the little extra next time and stick with the nice people at Tropical Winds! Much cleaner ,friendlier and affordable! Breakfast was good too!

Stayed here last spring and loved it! Room was very clean, nice ocean view balcony, and the little cafe they have was good for breakfast. The location was awesome and can't get much better for the price!
If I had to say anything needed to be improved it would be that the hall-ways weren't as nice as the rooms.

Loved this place. Clean rooms, staff was great. The view was amazing. The restaurant closed at 2pm, wish it had been open later. Free continental breakfast would have made it perfect.

Gwen was the first person we dealt with she was AWESOME she let us check in early and greeted us every morning. Hotel amenities were everything advertised. Breakfast was very reasonable. Hotel very clean. View was spectacular. Will return and tell friends and family of this hidden jewel.

We have stayed for the last 5 years here answer wouldn't stay anywhere else when in Daytona. Reasonable price for ocean front. Clean room. Very friendly staff. Doesn't have free breakfast or a gym. Only reason for 4 stars. Splurge for oceanfront efficiency!!!!!!
