Disclaimer: I am not a Nascar fan, but went with family. It was a bit pricey but the $30 package was decent. Staff was very friendly and enjoyable to interact with. Video presentation in the High Octane Theater was outstanding, very well done! The overall experience and layout of the place was very well done, especially Glory Road. Food at the Pit Stop Cafe was average at best. Overall well worth spending a few hours there with the family. My ONLY complaintis the Nascar Simulator. The cars you climb into are very coolbut the screen and graphics left me very disappointed. Very old school graphics on a simple monitor. As a simulator, it should immerse you more with video wrapping around you in all the windows. I would recommend running it once. If they spend money there on anything, it should be to seriously upgrade the video experience in the simulator.

It was a great view into the history of NASCAR. You get an up close and personal look at the sport. I really enjoyed the Toyota car exhibit. Even if you are not a fan, it's a good experience.

A beautiful muesuem with so much to learn. Every single detail and car is beautiful and very much unique. There are so many interactive things to do, like pit stop crew and a driving simulator. It is truly amazing!

Amazing place! Staff is super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend the Racing Insiders tour. You get admission into the Hall and free simulator rides on the day of your tour and thr next day. Seeing the race shops is a lot of fun and you learn a lot from your guide.

First time in Charlotte and was excited to visit the Hall! From the first sight of the building I was hooked!! Love the checkered flag crosswalks and the shape of the building. The giant Telecom gets you pumped before even entering! The front desk girls were friendly and helpful, the admission sign fees were clear and concise. Every staff member we encountered was happy and welcoming! Great customer service as a whole. The cafe girl was friendly and the food was good. As an old school fan I was a bit disappointed in the lack of Earnhardt Sr and Gordon displays but then realized it was a hall of fame and not a museum. But all in all a must see!

Avid NASCAR fan and first visit to Charlotte. Fans of all generations will find something they love and remember. Newer fans or those that are new to the sort will find things easier to understand and with the little games, challenges, and driving simulators, this is a place that can help bring the sport to the younger generation. I will definitely be visiting again.

Just a ton of history and interactive things to do. Not just history but current as well. Fun for fans of all ages. Might even be more informative for those who believe NASCAR is all about go fast and turn left. Very informative.

It was so much fun! My 4 year old had a blast! There are lots of cool things you can do like the simulator there are 13 cars and you get to race everyone in the other cars. Then they have the pit stop challenge that will test your time to jack a car up take a tire off and put it back on and fill it with gas. Along with lots of other fun things!! The pit stop cafe is very good too. I recommend the BBQ sandwich!

It's a great museum with a ton of interactive activities. People have this misconception that you must be an avid NASCAR fan to enjoy this museum but that's not true. Most people spend an hour and half going through the museum. Here are my suggestions :
-If you plan on doing the simulator ride, get one of the unlimited combos
-Use your hard card; it's a souvenir but you can use it to get information that compliments the exhibits.
-Watch the movie- especially if you have no previous knowledge of NASCAR
-Go to Qualifying before trying the actual simulator or 9/10 you are going to crash as soon as you start.
-If you don't do anything else make sure you indulge in the Glory Road to see the classic and historic cars. You also feel how the embankment feels for driver. Now imagine going 150 mph!?

Great experience.. took my dad who used to race circle track dirt cars and my son who has never been a follower of racing. Both of them and myself had a fantastic time! Definitely worth it!!

I took the Racing Insiders tour and had a fantastic time! Knowledgeable and fin tour guide, the included lunch was quite good and the race shops were very interesting to visit. If you have any interest in NASCAR it's worth it!

I was staying at a hotel just across the street from the NASCAR Hall of Fame and could see it from my window, so when I was done with work for the weekI had to visit. The place was empty when I visited, most likely because it was the middle of the day and not Spring Break or any other busy tourist season. Based on this, I expected the staff to be more helpful and attentive. Literally the only staff member who spoke with me on my 2.5 hour visit was the lady at the front who collected my money for my ticket. I saw about 20 other employees as I walked around, almost having the place to myself and they never greeted me or asked if I wanted more information about a specific collection I was looking at. The displays do have signs and I can read, but customer service goes a long way at making someone feel welcome. I was very pleased with the layout of the collections. I did not eat at the cafe inside as it was completely overpriced and expected, for a tourist location. I enjoyed all the displays, just wish the staff was a little more involved and attentive.
