This place is a nice surprise. A 3.8 for sure and they are still doing up grades. Large room and a hot tub. The tub did not work at the time but we did not reserve a hot tub. So once they fix it even better.👍

I wish i could put zero star.
I would advise not to stay here
Room was dirty, bugs in the bathroom
Look like a crime scene on the walls
(hand prints) oh did i mention the police escorting people out. And the smoking was terrible.
When we told the front desk girl she did not even apologize it anything. just ok

The place is dirty People across from me were smoking pot and yelling all up to 11pm until the cops were called. Breakfast was laughable. The only plus side was the staff was extremely nice and helpful. I won't be staying there again

I am giving a 1 star rating because of the absolutely horrible service I received from the hotel manager. By far the worst I have experienced.
My family and I stayed there on the way to Florida from Ohio. When we arrived in Florida, my wife went looking for her drivers license. She couldn’t find it so we called the hotel and was told by the night clerk it was there. (We were never notified and my wife is the one who made the reservation.)
When I called in the morning to speak with the manager to see if they could mail it out. I was told no, but he would hold it if I sent someone to pick it up. I was irritated and asked again but was told no.
So my wife and I then went to the UPS store to see if they could arrange a pickup. We were able to schedule a UPS driver to come get it but due to the weekend they couldn’t pick it up till Monday. So I called the manager to explain that a driver would be there Monday morning. He was unavailable so I left the message with the receptionist. I call on Monday to see if UPS had shown up and spoke to Raj (the manager) who told me it was already sent. I asked again to confirm that UPS had picked it up and he said “No, it was already sent”. I told him that UPS was there to pick it up. He went looking and all of a sudden he found it. Said that he didn’t see it before. He asked if the driver could come back. I called the UPS store in Ft Myers ( who actually knows what customer service is) and she tried to arrange another pickup but the order was “cancelled at arrival” so it would require me to pay again.
I was extremely irritated at this point. I called back to talk to Raj and I said he needed to place an order with UPS so they could come back and pick it up. He flat out said no. “It’s not my fault you forgot your license. Do you know how many people forget things here? I did you a favor by calling”. I told him that he didn’t call. We called and asked. I reiterated his instructions that we have someone pick it up and that he canceled it. So I am out money and still have no license. His comment was “ well, that’s neither here nor there.” After arguing he offered to mail it to the address on the ID because calling UPS would cost his company too much money. Even though he said he couldn’t do that initially. I was concerned because Thursday was Thanksgiving and there wouldn’t be any mail. He said the mail hadn’t arrived so it would go out that day.
Needless to say, we got the ID on Saturday, the day we were leaving Florida.

Again, the worst example of customer service.

Very polite staff. Stayed two nights. When the folks found out we were evacuees from Fl they gave us the second night free. There was 5 of us. These folks are great. Would stay there again.

The room was satisfactory, clean enough, pretty good shower, good A/C. The common areas we're pretty beat up. Dirty elevator, dirty hallways. The breakfast was pitiful. Coffee, juice, waffles, two types of sugary cereal, some microwavable oatmeal and grits and a few pieces of white bread for toast. No yogurt, muffins, hard boiled eggs. We left hungry which is a shame.

I had a really nice room . Everything was fine with the exception of hot water.Lukewarm water was my turnoff.I turned the water on and went to the lobby to get coffee and left the water running and it never got hot.I turned the water on in the tub and took some items to my car. Got back still no hot water.I believe they don't have the water heater turned up.

Room was clean and comfortable. Definitely an older property but as far as economy motels go it was ok. We accidentally booked a smoking room and the staff quickly moved is to another. Breakfast was sparser than some of the other economy chains.

The overall stay was decent but on our last morning there which was Thanksgiving the man at the desk would not replenish the breakfast items. I didn't really care on my account but there were 5 or so kids that were hungry. It wasn't even time for breakfast to be over. It just made me angry to see hungry kids on any morning. I know he had more food in the back. He was just cheap and greedy!!! Have a heart. I won't stay there again based on that alone.

What a Super relaxing night in a Super clean and tidy room at the Rock Hill Super 8. This will definitely be our place to stay when my husband and I travel through this area again. Everything and everyone was wonderful!
