The rooms were ok. Nothing to write home about and not very comfortable. Really wish they had something better than a soft board to call a pillow. The breakfast leaves much to be desired as there is very little to choose from. Neither quality nor quantity here. just go to the Bojangles that's less than a mile away. On the bright side. The room was clean and the linens were nice.

Such a cozy hotel! Staff is very friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean and well furnished. There was a fun event going on in the lobby. Great accommodations.

I would give them four stars, but why should I when I have a disability and a therapy dog with a letter stating she goes everywhere with me and the manager won't honor It! All staff is wonderful EXCEPT the manager. Who not only woke me up by calling the room, but the day before had ranted and gone off to another employee about my therapy dog. My therapy dog did absolutely nothing to him nor did she cause any trouble. I do NOT recommend this place if you have disabilities, they will not care and do not want to help

Recently the hotel increased the price of the rooms; we stay there on a regular basis. Now the rooms are $30 more per night; good way to drive away business. The rooms are clean, but most need some maintenance work. The mattresses are worn out and need to be to replaced. The TVs are older and don't have a great picture or sound. The breakfast is decent. Water has always been hot when time to take a shower, so that is a plus. The room is always warm when we get there and it takes a long time to cool down; but, once it cools down, it stays cool. The air smells a little funky though.

Just the thing for a night's stay-over. We upgraded to a suite for an extra $10 and had a room with a large separate sitting room (couch, chair, desk, large comfy desk chair and plenty of walking around room). Microwave, fridge, free breakfast, very clean, no in-room safe.

I highly recommend this motel to anyone needing a place to stay including truck drivers. This is the only motel in this area I have found with enough room to safely and securely park a tractor trailer. The staff are nice as the can be and the place is spotless and very nice whatever pictures they have on their website are 110% true it's one of the nicest motels I have ever stayed at and they let me have my room for the same price as the cheaper motels in the area. This is the second time I've had to stay here due to a breakdown. To my trucker buddies if you are ever in the area and need a place that's easy to get into with secure truck parking and a staff that is trucker friendly I strongly recommend this motel.

The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, water pressure was good, and the complimentary breakfast wasn't the worst that I've had. Overall it was a pleasant stay and I would stay longer in the future. The staff was nice and seemed to know who I was despite being fairly well booked.

I just need to add that the receptionist with big grey hair wasn't friendly at all and was even kinda irritated when noticed how upset I was when he told us that we are staying at a smoking room instead of a non-smoking room that we booked 2 months ago. I would not make such a big deal out of it but it was really awful.

More over, we were told if we don't like the room we can sleep in our car.

Staying at the smoking room for 8 hrs was a real torture. As someone who doesn't smoke I literally counted down the hours until our stay there is over. The smell in the room was unbearable. It was so strong it was hard to breathe. And in the end, Instead of refunding and apologizing for the inconvenience, the booking company HOTWIRE and the hotel started blaming each other in what happened. Both refused to refund us. I guess they don't care about their reputation.

Horrible customer service.

Me and my girlfriend were vising Asheville for the first time and had a lot of trouble when looking for hotels. This place was one of the cheapest ones we saw, so it made us a bit skeptical. When we got there, our skepticism was put to rest pretty quickly. The employees were all incredibly helpful when we first arrived and helped provide suggestions for where to go while visiting the city.

We went into the rooms and although the furniture may be slightly dated, everything in the room was in top shape. The beds were very clean and comfortable and the bathroom was fantastic. We were very surprised that this place was as nice as it was for the price! If you are skeptical, don't be. This place was very nice, great value, and in a quiet location. I highly recommend, and we will be coming back next time we visit Asheville.
