Clean comfortable rooms. Friendly Service. Amazing Continental breakfasts.. Great Service will go back again.
The service reps at the desk were very friendly and responded promptly when one of our crew members had a seizure in the breakfast lobby. Great people here and a wonderful stay. Hope to come back again. Breakfast wasnt bad at all either.
Good for the price. Don't usually like hotels with external entrance to the rooms but this place was relatively cheap for the area with an amazing location less than 5 minutes drive from downtown. Would pay 3 times more to actually be downtown.
Perfect for traveling with pets. This is one of the nicer days inn I've ever stayed in. The pet fees (non refundable) are only $20 which is better than paying $50 at other nearby options. We stayed there for one night. The breakfast was fresh and had many options. We were happy facing the closed swimming pool so the front desk was happy to switch us to a room with beautiful trees outside. 6 minutes to downtown. Would stop over here next time we are in Asheville.
We just needed a cheap overnight stay and this place fit the bill. Nothing fancy, but it was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great as well with a variety of options including some hot breakfast items in addition to the usual cereals and such.
Room was nice breakfast was good but the bed was like somebody dug out the middle with a spoon. Imagine sleeping in a bowl.
I’m giving this hotel a great score based on customer service, and here is why:
The housekeepers are honest and wonderful.
When I was staying here in August, my boyfriend and I left in a hurry to get back home. In the hurry, I forgot a bracelet that was very near and dear to my heart. When I realized what had happened in the car, it was night and the managers had left. I called the next morning, and the woman who had cleaned my room that morning answered the phone, and when I inquired about my bracelet, she got very happy and said that she had found it in my room and was safe and sound in a managers office in a locked box. She explained I needed to send up my ID photocopied and a box with a return label, and then they would send it back to me, right away.
While the box was delayed due to hurricane Irma, I received the box in great time with my bracelet inside.
I feel bad, as I did not get the name of the wonderful housekeeper, I just want to say:
To the woman who cleaned room 120 on August 26, Thank you, thank you, thank you so much, you really truly made my trip up to the mountains great.
The room was dank and damp. The door to the bathroom was filthy. There was a huge strain on one of the beds. Really gross place. At least breakfast was decent.
Beautiful room nice a clean and the staff is also wonderful. The one night I stayed there. They also got a breakfast bar that's good
All the beds are extremely sunken in making you roll to middle. Hair in bath drain making shower water fill up tub. 3 of us in a 2 bed room, but only 2 towels are left daily. Maids didn't fill or leave toilet paper two days in a row. Had to get our own out of car was told cause maids are doing 36 rooms a day. Had to go get towels & tp from office. Staff is friendly & outdoor heated pool is clean. Job paid for room here for a week. Or we would be gone. Beds are so bad I took blankets & slept on floor.
Housekeeping for the room was lackluster. The toilet was clogged and trash was on the floor and in the drawers. The shower handles were incorrectly labeled for hot and cold, the sink faucet was about to fall apart, and the toilet didn't feel properly mounted to the floor. The curtains did not provide adequate blocking of the bright lights outside the room. On the bright side, the bed was okay and breakfast was great. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Room 226, excellent room quality. Pool was out of service until memorial weekend. 4/5
We used the hall which was nice and clean. The staff worked with us making sure everything was set up according to our needs. They were kind and courteous.
We'll be having a church event at this hotel in a few days. The location is extremely convenient. The parking lot isn't as convenient (one exit), nor is parking directly in front of the hotel, but the lobby is Jocelyn appointed with a spacious breakfast area and even a bar setup. The meeting rooms were also spacious, and both long and round tables were available for our event. The meeting rooms are divided by collapsible partitions, which allows for large groups just by a mere opening of the divider. The hotel itself seems older, and while we didn't look into any of the rooms, the simple convenience of the location combined with the well appointed meeting rooms made it ideal for our event.
Treadmill was really nice and breakfast was wonderful. However, the room and bedding smelled so bad that we didn't sleep much. The "non-smoking" room had definitely been a smoking room on many occasions. Bathroom was not clean. And there was a man yelling obscenities late at night out in the courtyard while we were trying to get the children to sleep. Not pleased with the overall experience.
