I Stayed at Motel 6 In Willoughby Ohio. Room 202. There were Lady Bugs in my room as well as several STINK BUGS! THE ROOM WAS FILTHY! With the Bugs and the Dirty room, was not a very good experience at all. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO A FAMILY. I never said anything to Staff. I was sleepy. STAFF WERE ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! NICE KIDS WORKING FRONT DESK! ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT IT!

Very nice. Cheap but lovely at the same time. They treat you like family. Spend three weeks there and not one problem

Check in was quick and efficient, the desk clerk Justice was professional and because there were others in the lobby, she handled giving my key card with discretion. My request for a first floor room with close parking was a non issue. The room was clean, the bathroom immaculate. I am in the middle of a two day move from Indiana to New York.

Oh my God these are the most awesome people on earth in the motel industry!!! I was bringing animals thru from hurricane in Texas rescues and got to my house in Euclid to find out I was invaded by squatters and stray cats through our doggie door!!! House was infested by fleas and God knows what else in our 3 month absence!!! This motel 6 has been allowing us to stay with rescue dog and kittens while our house has been fumigated and ongoing cleanup for almost a month now! Service is awesome and patient as I am often not here due to necessity to be at Cleveland Clinic hosp with my partner who has had recently bad side effects from her chemo treatment. They have been so good to me I can’t tell you how wonderful these people are, compassionate and personable and awesome! In these trials of mine they have gone the extra mile to make things a little less painful for me they deserve the ultimate reward on customer service!!! I’ve stayed in many Motel6 across the us these folks are the greatest ever!!! Never saw any illegal drug use or commotion in parking area always have been greeted by other residents respectfully on my walks with my rescue dog! And my dog is an idiot, a rescue with fear aggression issues! Thank you Motel6 for some sanity in my chaotic life.

rough looking place, seedy atmosphere there, I saw a middle aged respectable women smoking crack in the car park out of my window and then a few hours later the same women was leaving the reception area after speaking to staff there 01.00 approx time in the morning. The way we have to insert card into the lift before we can call it shows the security is a problem there. The corridors felt like a prison compared to othr places we stayed at. Rooms were big.

The staff was excellent. I dropped my cell phone in the toilet and the front desk clerk could not have helped me enough to find a Walmart to purchase a new one so I could contact my family. I thought the overall appearance could have been better that is the reason for 4 stars. Room was very clean.

I stay at this motel every August to be in town for the Ohio Celtic Festival. The rooms are comfortable and the decor is nice. The only issue I have is that the rooms are always damp. Even with the A/C on, it's very humid in the rooms. The price is good and close to my venue. Will stay again next year. :)

Front desk person was friendly when I walked in. Got me checked-in quickly.
What significantly detracted from my stay was requesting a non-smoking room, however when we walked in room clearly smelled like tobacco. There were also ashtrays all throughout the room, ashtrays were clean and empty but that's an indicator that we were put in a smoking room against my request.
There was also no refrigerator. Most Motel 6s I've been to have mini-fridges. That would have been helpful.

There were several domestic arguments going on in the parking lot. The police had to be called in the wee hours of the morning. This is the second time this has happened during a stay there within the last month. Also I had to borrow a mop from the front desk to mop my own bathroom and room floor. There were so many dead bugs all over the room it was ridiculous. The bathroom light cover was full of dead bugs too, but there was no one available to help me get the cover off to clean it out. This was a first floor handicap accessible room. It seriously needs to have a protective door frame cover installed on the bottom of the door. I noticed that small black bugs were crawling into the room at night because they were attracted to the light that they could see under the door frame. The open space in that area was much too wide. I ended up putting the bedspread in front of the bottom of the door jamb in order to prevent bugs from coming in.Though I was a bit tired after mopping myself, I felt so much better after cleaning my own room. Also, in a non-smoking room do not offer an ashtray. The ashtray was full of cigarette ashes even though it had a no-smoking logo on the bottom of it.

When I'm on the road and need a place to sleep and shower I often choose Motel 6 for it's value. This location was as good as most maybe a little better. The room was clean and bed comfortable. I did order with a microwave and fridge online and after I settled in for the night realized my room had neither so make sure and let the attendant know what you want when you check in.

Not a resort hotel by any means, so expected getting what I paid for. Staff was helpful and friendly .Room I had was generally clean aside from discovering what appeared to be small amounts of blood spatter on several walls. Hadn't noticed it the first couple days not having seen the room in the daylight. The shower towels with their sandpaper like texture were barely large enough for an average sized adult. Perhaps not for everyone but it is what it is, an inexpensive motel & not a 5 star resort.

The rooms have outside doors and we were able to park right by the door. Room was pet friendly as we had a dog. There were some newer upgrades to the room like what appeared to be laminate hardwood floors. You could hear the neighbors next door and they weren't being loud, so the sound travels. Overall the room was good for our purposes.

I was supposed to stay 3 nights. I did not sleep at all the first night due all the loud noise on the floor with yelling and what sounded like a orgy in the room next to me. Then morning came and I happen to look out the window and there are 4 police cars outside arresting someone. I post on FB the pictures of what I saw and a number of people responded that this Motel 6 is known for drug bust and prostitution. I go down to the lobby to speak with someone to tell them the issues and I want a full refund and they would only give me the 2 nights that I did not stay for. As I am talking to them another 2 police cars show up again for another arrest. I went to speak with one of the officers to find out about this place and he basically said that this place is a big headache for their police department and the weekends they stay close by because of all the illegal activity. I normally stay at the Geneva, OH Motel 6 but they were booked up and more expensive. I know Motel 6 is not 5 star rated place to stay but I guess you pay for what you get. A side note about the room, the bathtub was clogged, there were urine stains all over the toilet seat and the tile on the floor looked to have mold in the grout. The elevator was an ice box, the a/c was on in it for some reason. In summary I paid for a one night stay with no sleep and exposed to illegal activity. The chances of me staying at Motel 6 are as good as me winning the lottery. A positive to note, the front desk rep Hercules was very nice and understanding.

The best part of our experience was the kindness of the staff. The woman working the front desk when we checked in Friday night was incredibly nice. The room was average. It was appropriate for the price I think. The only thing we didn't like was the smell of weed in the hallways and that you had to use a door key to use the elevator. I'm sure that was probably put into place for safety reasons though.
