Hotel is located near the airport, it is not located near anything else. Nothing within walking distance of this hotel. They have a third party transportation company that they partner with. $10 per person plus tip from airport to hotel. The hotel offers cruise transportation to and from the hotel for $20 per person plus tip. We waited 2 hours to get a ride to the cruise line terminal. Upon return they expected us to wait at the cruise line terminal for three hours and then expected us to sit in the hotel lobby for another four hours before they would take us to the airport. We do lot recommend the hotel transportation round trip, it is not worth it. Hotel lobby is uncomfortable with only vending machines for drinks and snacks. Hotel breakfast is cheap and will make for an unpleasant experience while standing in line waiting to clear the cruise line and customs. Breakfast is not nearly as good as other Microtel Hotels we have stayed at in the past. Room was nice, A/C cold with a string musty odor. Only room complaint.

It's an affordable hotel that is the closest hotel to the Jacksonville airport.
It's always clean. The staff is friendly and always offering to help. This is the only place I'll stay in Jacksonville.

First night went to dinner and came back to find our door wide open! Spoke to front desk person said it was probably the hinges!! Did not feel safe. Asked for extra towels and pillows and was told she had no housekeeping she was the only one and had to go down to get them. The pillows were terrible.
Tried to iron clothes, but iron was broken. All the vending machines were broken had to drive to mall to get food or snack. Free breakfast was mini muffin, orange, coffee. No cereal, yogurt or anything of substance. Extremely disappointed.
Only had 1 computer, and someone was on it for hours could not print passes fir flight.
So staying close to airport was wasted, sorry but I Would never stay at a Wyndham hotel again.

Nina and the other staff members were very kind and efficient as they met the needs of the guests. The grounds were well kept ( even during the hurricane !) As well as the breakfast area. Thank you for a wonderful visit.

I first want to say the only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of one is because of the 2 guys who work the front desk at night. They were extremely helpful. Okay now lets get to the meat of this review. My wife and I came to town for an awards ceremony from 7/13 to 7/16 so we decided to stay close to the airport and chose to stay and a Wyndham Property. When we first checked in the room we were checked into the toilet was busted and did not work. We went downstairs and they immediately changed us to another room (212). I woke up 2 days later with deep red bite marks on the left side of my body, and I didn't know if I had an allergic reaction to food or was it the sheets.. NO IT WAS BED BUGS!!!! I didn't realize what had happened until I got home and googled "What does Bed Bug Bites Look Like" and the pictures showed exactly what the bite marks on me look like. To add insult to injury the sheets had dried blood stains on them and that was disgusting!! I'll NEVER stay at another Microtel Hotel again, and I'd advise you to check your bed when you check into any hotel!!

The staff is friendly and helpful. The room was large and very clean. The beds were extremely comfortable and there was a surprising reading nook that made the room feel more like home away from home instead of a hotel.

Nice clean place. Good location. A little confusing with payments but ultimately worked out. Breakfast is kind of sad and so is the gym. The pool is nice but they shouldn't have been cleaning it while guests were swimming. Comfy, clean rooms and beds. Very friendly staff especially the Russian front desk lady. First time there (July 4, 2017)and I would stay again.

Very nice rooms but as far as professionalism. I see none. The Customer Service people were very nice but overall uneffective and they had little kids behind the service desk crying and screaming. I understand if you could not get a babysitter but keeping your loud kids in a place where people pay to relax is absurd !!

Hotel condition was okay, but nowhere near as nice as similarly priced hotels. Thin walls meant we had to listen to neighbors tv, and everything at the pool below. Shower pressure only high at scalding temperatures. Finally, the staff was less than friendly. 2 different desk attendants lacked a friendly attitude someone in customer service should have, and even the housekeeping didn't acknowledge my "good morning" courtesy. I do not recommend.

This place sucks and I have not even stayed there. I won a PBS auction for a two night stay and when I called, the manager was very rude about it. He said the person who issued the certificate did not work their anymore and he said he would not honor it. He said no one has paid them yet for the auction. I said you guys donated it so no one is going to pay you. He said he had no record of it but he did not even take a moment to look and shot me down. He told me to call the PBS auction and take it up with them. I did but when they called him, he was rude to them too and refused to honor the auction. If there was a problem with this he did not have to be an ass about it. I will never stay there because of him and I will tell everyone not to stay there as well. He needs to go back to school to learn proper etiquette when dealing with customers.
