Our stay at The Custom House was great! The staff is friendly, and the Custom House is beautiful and fill of history. There was no shortage of activities for guests, including a tour of the building, wine and cheese tasting, and a concert with carollers. The observation deck on the top floor has amazing views of the city. My one complaint is that the noise from the bars and people outside went late into the night. I could hear it even from the 15th floor.

It's honestly the best place to stay in town. You're right in the heart of downtown, and right off of the pier. Great restaurants nearby. And you're in a clocktower; bonus!

We did not stay here. We just took the "tour" of the observation deck. Note that there really isn't a "tour." An employee escorts you in the elevator until you get to the 26th floor (coming back down is on you). The observation deck is open from 2-3 and again in the evening every day except Friday (weather permitting). The 2-3 slot costs $7 (apparently donated to charity). The later slot is more expensive, but includes a drink. The views are stunning.

Historic building in the city center. Do not rent a car as its really not needed and parking in the city center is $40 or more. Car rental agencies are located within walking distance if a car is needed. The hotel offers apartment style units and they propose different things daily, such as free mimosas, sangria, live music etc (different days)

Beautiful room. I never heard any sounds from outside the room. We had a problem with our shower and someone came immediately and fixed it. Great customer service!

I came to Boston to attend a conference and shared a suite with my colleague. When I made the reservation on Marriott website, I selected the "2 people" button which means there would be two people checking in. But there's just no place for me to put my colleague's name on the online reservation form. But I would need a receipt with two people's name on it. So we made a phone call to Marriott customer's service and they told us we can add the second person's name on the receipt when we check out. However, when we checked out this morning, the staff at the front table told us it's impossible to add name on the receipt. WHAT??!! But this is not the only reason to give a one star. Another reason is when we try to communicate with the staff, they behaved unprofessional and seems very very impatient and wasn't even willing to let us finish our questions. Even though we finally got the receipt, but we waited for a long time (it made us late for the conference) and this experience was extremely unpleasant.

Great location close to Quincy Market and Fanneil Hall. Friendly staff that go out of their way to help. Daily entertainment, free tours, and activities. Nice one bedroom with small kitchenette. We had a beautiful view of the harbor.

Beautifully renovated historic building in the heart of Boston. Gorgeous views, comfortable bedding and large rooms for a city stay. Tons of restaurants and bars within a couple minutes walk Highly recommend!

I recently attended this location to check out their observation deck and take some photos overlooking the city. The staff were very friendly and hospitable. The view was amazing and I managed to go home with some pretty nice shots of the view.

Beautiful hotel with very friendly, competent staff. Location was easy to get to from the airport, right off the aquarium blue line stop. Pillows were lovely, fluffy down, and the sheets were cool and crisp. Would definitely stay again.

The Custom House is beautiful inside and out. Our room was very comfortable and well-appointed. It's within walking distance to the North End and harbor area and convenient to several T stops. Would highly recommend

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked this hotel on there and they had the cheapest rates around

Everything about this place was great. The location was amazing as we were right off the water and a block away from Quincy market. The rooms were clean and comfortable and anything goes we needed was brought to us right away. Would definitely recommend this to anyone and would love to come back.
