Beautiful historic mansion in the heart of old Key West Marrero's is within walking distance of Mallory Square and many other attractions. The mansion is beautiful and staff is very attentive and friendly. Would highly recommend this beautiful old Victorian mansion
It is a nice bed and breakfast with rooms to fit most budgets and expectations of amenities. Marrero's is centrally located in old town, just off of Duval street. All the best that Key West has to offer is within walking distance of this place. And because now there is a new owner, there are no more creepy naked people hanging around the pool wanting to engage in creepy naked conversations. The pool area is very relaxing and has an honor bar with cold refreshments. This place is a little on the pricey side for what you get. But does have some "kinda" budget accommodations available if you don't mind a very small room, small bed and a shared bathroom(rooms 15 and 16). I enjoy the relaxing atmosphere in the pool area, I enjoy staying here.
Loved our stay here, the house is historic and beautiful. The staff are delightful. Substantial continental breakfast ever morning and free happy hour in the evening. The room we were in was a little small but I'm sure that's true of many of the houses in the area. Over all a brilliant experience, would certainly come back!
The home was in a great location. it is an older home so it does have thin walls. The management goes home at 6pm and you will have to let yourself in and out until the next morning. The rooms were warm and wasn't allowed to go below 74 degrees even when it is so hot out.
Nice place. Centrally located. And since there is a new owner, no more creepy naked people hanging around the pool wanting to engage in naked conversations.
My husband and I stayed at Marrero's for a week to celebrate our anniversary. It was lovely. The staff was very helpful, the room was always clean, and the pool was fantastic. The location is great, too - very close to Duval St without the noise. I'd recommend it.
Great place located near the center of Duval Street. We had the spacious Room #20. The pool is NOT a toptional. Make sure you call them to reserve parking. You can hear conversations of other guest through the walls and doors but didn't mind because the home is historic and gives good vibes.
Great location and staff. The room was very large.
Excellent location - quiet area off the strip but a very short walk to it. In equal walking distance between Mallory Square the Southernmost Point; the house is also located right around the corner from Mile 0.
Access to the house's front door with your own key makes you feel kind of like you are at your own home. Had a spacious room (Avian) with lovely older furniture. Enjoyed our private balcony but the corner shower gave us a hard time. It was a tight space and the water shot on an angle that went through curtain onto the floor if the shower head was not positioned almost straight down.
When we checked in, we asked about parking. They have 5 spots available, first come, first served. Perhaps we missed it on the liability form they have you sign but we didn't see or hear anything about parking costing $20 per night - it just showed up on our e-receipt after we left.
LOVED,LOVED,LOVED our experience at Marrero's. My husband and I stayed last week and absolutely loved everything. Sally and Jen were fantastic and so accommodating. The location was perfect for us- close to everything but not so close that we could hear the night life. We look forward to staying at Marrero's next year!
Jen is so awesome and greeted us with her great smile each day. She made a routine stay into a wonderful trip to key West. Thank you Jen! You are a very valuable person and you are a great asset to Marreros. Our room was clean, the breakfast bar is the best, and everyone is so friendly. A++++
