Super expensive, but that is to be expected. I think each section can see the field well, but some of the smaller higher sections are actually pretty comfortable. Make sure you dress for the weather if the roof is open. If you get a chance, buy tickets worth access to the field after the game. It is quite an experience to be down on the field looking up at the stands.

We'll run and kept during my visit. Nice conference rooms. We we here for a convention, the field was well kept and as were the stands. I have never been here for a game but the acoustics made it seem like It would be a fun place to be with a full house. the stadium could use better bathroom spacing and maybe even a few more.

Overall the venue is nice, bathrooms kept relatively clean. Inside the entrance you'll see interesting displays showcasing motor sports of Indiana. Ticket pricing these days is outrageous but the expenses doesn't end once you get inside Lucas. They have a wide variety of concession options. The food options and quality are actually decent, but prices are not. For two people expect to shell out $45 to $50 bucks to get a light snack and soft drinks.

Lucas Oil Stadium opened in downtown Indianapolis in 2008 for the Indianapolis Colts and is one of the centerpieces of not only the city, but for the National Football League (NFL). It is a stadium, with a true downtown feel with bars, hotels, restaurants and nightlife just a few steps away from the main entrance. It’s design also blends well with the surrounding area, but stands out magnificently from passersby off nearby I-70. The $720,000 million stadium features a retractable roof with a spectacular view of downtown when open, synthetic field turf, 137 private suites and seats 62, 421 people for football games. Whether the roof is open or not during a game is made 90 minutes prior kickoff, but fans are advised well before that. The roof takes only 11 minutes to open or close and when it’s open, the stadium has natural air conditioning and a wide-open view of the skies and downtown buildings.

There was tons of ten to twenty dollar parking within two blocks. Great tailgating party right outside the stadium. Two really good bands playing before the game. The escalators made it easy compared to other stadiums. Retractable roof and large sliding end zone windows are not only cool they allow the best both worlds. The food is good and the beer is cold.

Great venue! Long time Colts fan from MS and this was my first time at Lucus Oil. Had a wonderful time.

Everything was laid our perfect as you can tell the design was well thought out. From the entrance from the convention center to the restrooms. Nice place!

Probably the nicest Stadium/Arena in the Country. Has a retractable roof, and even a wall that opens up to provide a great view of the city skyline. Very clean, with ample room to walk in isles

By far one of the better stadiums I've been to. It was a pretty big crowd for the Colts game. The entire staff from officers to the people serving food in the food area I could not complain one bit. I am not a Colts fan so this is not somebody who is just backing the stadium for their team trust me when I say bring a jacket if they have the top closed because you will freeze I wish I'd have brought a jacket and it was 90 degrees outside that day.

Mostly I enjoyed a good Colts game. Wouldn't it be nice if people stayed in their seats instead of beer trips every 15 minutes? Makes the view of the field much better. With the ticket prices I would love to be able to see the entire game. Just saying.

I spent three days here at a convention and it was amazing. Everyone from the food workers to the security guards were super nice and very accommodating to anything we needed. The facilities remained clean and orderly the entire three days we were there. I have been to a lot of stadiums, but none of them compare to the hospitality of this one.

One of the greatest NFL stadiums. Great view of the Indy skyline when the window is open and when they open the roof it is an outstanding experience

A really great place to watch a football game right in downtown Indianapolis. A few of the seats way at the top have obscured sight lines. Nice concourses. Good food.

I come down to Lucas Oil Stadium from Chicago for the supercross races once a year and always have a great time. The stadium is relatively new and it is very nice. They have a tribute to all different types of car racing on the concourse with actual Indy cars, dragsters, a nascar and a couple other cars. It's a very cool feature that the stadium has to go along with all the great events it hosts.

I am in a wheelchair and from the minute we reached the stadium, we were very easily directed to every elevator and every place we needed to go to make sure I could access my seats. There is an attendant running the elevator in the stadium so it was made sure that the wheelchairs are first priority on there. The seating for handicap was very spacious and there was plenty of room for my husband sitting next to me to stretch out his feet. There were also plenty of ramps throughout the stadium so we never had to worry about any steps. The stadium was awesome. It was big and had bright colors and the field was amazing. The best part was that our hotel was connected by an indoor walkway straight to the stadium. We never had to go outside. It is also connected straight to the mall. There are numerous places to eat or get drinks. Obviously it is going to cost a lot of money to eat in the stadium but that is very typical of venues like this. Although the pizza was $8, it is Papa John's and it actually is pretty good.. The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful. The experience for a Colts fan in that stadium is awesome. The ticket prices are obviously not cheap but there are stadiums with higher prices than theirs. We hope to return next year for another game.
