Friendly front door staff and delicious breakfast meal. Clean room and caring housecleaning make this hotel a must when looking for lodging in the Caramel area.

Very clean room and great breakfast in the morning. Desk staff is hit or miss. Our first night clerk wouldn't help with a room reassignment since we booked through Priceline but the next morning clerk was happy to help. Overall , I recommend the place.

Relatively central location in Carmel that is easily accessible via the highway and local roads. The hotel itself is older (circa 2000-2001) and has received some updates including new carpeting, paint, lobby, appliances, furniture etc. The kitchen cabinets, bath cabinets, bath tubs, toilets have not been replaced and are original. All of the room doors also have substantial scuffing on their bottoms. Service staff is friendly and the hotel, including the amenity spaces appear clean -- I only actually used the gym. One important note, there is a substantial amount of freeway noise in the rooms that face the road. Overall this is a mid range, pretty well located Residence Inn with a friendly staff and a some updates.

Very clean. Walls are very thin, I woke up to the alarm next door! Plumbing is very loud. Employees were very nice and friendly, with the exception of one person

We have stayed at this place before & absolutely loved it. If there is any downside, it's the price. Everyone that works there is very friendly & very accommodating. Rooms were quiet & comfy. Breakfast was good & offered a pretty decent selection. I an on staying there again.

The lady, Laneisha, that I reserved the room with was courteous, cheerful, and professional. The place is nice and well maintained, and the staff is awesome. Second time we have stayed at a Residence Inn and have yet to be disappointed.

Rooms are a nice size, clean, and comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful. Great place for a family to stay with a basketball court, indoor pool, and board games available as well as an outdoor grilling area.

The front desk workers need to be fired. They made me want to leave the hotel. Very rude, condescending people who only gave a group of 5 one bedroom. It was unbelievable, and they lied to us about it as well. I just tried to talk to the front desk and they were totally emotionless and we received incredibly negative, unwelcoming gestures. It was an okay room, (not for 5 people) okay pool, good breakfast even though I've had better. THE ROOM CLEANER LADY AND MECHANIC: 5 stars. Wonderful people, please promote them or make them the front desk! Our bathroom door was broken and the mechanic was so kind and sweet about it. Love that guy, however, never coming here again. We couldn't even rent bikes because of some stupid app when it was only $3 for 3 hours. Seriously?! Customers should just pay to the front desk even though I hated speaking to any of them. But hey, you want the worse hotel? Come to the Residence Inn. You're welcome. Bye.

The rooms are big and cozy as well as the kitchen space they provide in your room. Like who wouldnt want a room with a kitchen? The customer service is great and would definitely stay here again. Also on a side note, their breakfast is also great.

Opted for Residence Inn for a work trip because of a good experience at one in Virginia 10 years ago. This one seems like it was probably nice 10 years ago, too, but does not reflect the standards I am used to at Marriott properties. It's not awful, it's just sort of shabby. All of the room doors and woodwork in the hallways are scuffed and marked, clearly not repainted for years. The whole building has a chemical disinfectant smell - at least it indicates it's being cleaned, but if you are sensitive to that sort of thing, not so good. Outlet and light switch plates are cracked and dingy. The iron in my room had so much hard water deposits in the steam vents it made my shirt dirty. Again, not awful, but I would not book here again.

Staff are very friendly and quick to let you know about events during your stay. Rooms are spacious and homey. Pillows are great, I kinda want to take one home. Beware though, some staff install the toilet paper upside down.

Carmel Indiana is a fun suburb of Indianapolis that is undergoing a lot of development. Lots of shops and restaurants. The hotel has quite a few amenities and staff are friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in had some sort of leak causing the carpet to be wet Pretty gross.

Room was decent, could use a sprucing up in the bathroom as paint was peeling. Sofa bed mattress has seen better days. Overall, breakfast was great, the indoor pool was nice as well. The lobby was fantastic.
