I recently photographed a wedding at the Lake Rabun Hotel. It was a beautiful venue and had a great warm feel to it. Definitely want to return as a guest for a weekend getaway. The staff was amazing and very welcoming. The facilities were exceptionally clean and well maintained.

Josh and team were great to work with. Planned an intimate wedding for 35 people and this was the perfect setting. Gorgeous, quaint hotel, beautiful scenery and beautiful fall leaves. The food was excellent, service was great. Josh personally attended to every detail of our wedding. Highly recommend!

Great romantic get away! Took my husband for a day trip and spent one night here at the Lake Rabun Hotel & Restaurant. Cozy place, amazing dinner and everyone was so friendly and helpful with knowledge of the area. We hiked to several water falls and had a beautiful drive with the fall colors in the trees. We would definitely go back and recommend this hotel to our friends.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Loved the charm and the feel of history plus the lovely surroundings enhanced by the beauty of fall. The staff were wonderful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious. The only issue we had was that the cats continued to wander in. Many people loved them but we had cat allergies in our group. Just wish we had been forewarned.

Wonderful hotel and restaurant! We stayed two nights and can't wait to go back! We have dietary issues (gluten and dairy) and the chef gave us a delicious gourmet breakfast in accordance with our restrictions. So yummy! The hotel is old (built in 1922, but modernized) and quaint, but comfortable and inviting with a number of communal spaces - it feels like you're visiting someone's old home. And the staff goes out of their way to be helpful and welcoming, so it is a great place to stay.

Absolutely stunning place! I was looking for a get-away from the main stream life, and had picked this on the map. It is well above my expectations and I will surely be back! The price is awesome, the rooms are great for a single person or a couple, and the complementary breakfast was better than I'd get at a pay restaurant. I just had dinner and it was spectacular. I can't express enough how awesome it is here!

The staff (especially Lisa and Jenna) were awesome!!
They are the reason we will return.
The Hotel is great, we loved the rustic atmosphere, and the rooms are superb. Especially the third floor and the cottage. We tried both.
Breakfast was great. Dinner was good.
It was a pleasant and relaxing stay.
    We highly recommend it.

This was an incredible experience from the initial call to inquire about the hotel and book our hotel and restaurant reservation all the way through our entire stay. This hotel is located in an awesome location with great scenery and the staff was great. It's always great as well to have a restaurant on site that has groups of people coming to eat that aren't even staying at the hotel, which confirms that people know it is an excellent restaurant with great food. We loved the room and the warm feel of the entire property, including the different balcony areas that we could relax together and enjoy the views. We will definitely be back!

I could sing praises from the tops of these mountains! I cannot believe the exceptional service we received at this beautiful hotel. You're greeted by a beautiful entrance, great local art, and a warm staff. The young receptionist is sweet and very welcoming, the manager was born to do this, he was simply amazing, and our waiter/bar tender was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. I would give the in-house restaurant 10 stars if it were possible, the lamb and trout were out of this world and the fried green tomatoes were excellent. The breakfast was THE best breakfast that I have ever had. I honestly don't think there could ever be a better Mountain hideaway Hotel. My sweet boyfriend took me here for our one year anniversary as a total surprise, I cannot wait to return!

My mom and I stayed for two nights and absolutely loved it. Would highly recommend it to anyone and we definitely want to go back! The staff was wonderful - friendly and accommodating. Everything was very orderly and quiet, the food was delicious. It was the perfect relaxing getaway. You can't beat the location either! So many waterfalls in close proximity to the hotel.

Restaurant is well worth a long drive, with fresh, creative options, and a strong drinks/wine list. Did not have a single item that could be improved. Rooms are more spartan than Glen Ella Springs, another rustic inn in NE GA, but common areas are inviting. Hearty, well presented breakfast is included in room fee.

Stayed 1 night March 9. What a Bed and Breakfast gem! We felt lucky that we found this hotel on line. Staff was wonderful from check in to dining and check out. Wonderful farm to table dinner options cooked to perfection. Impressive big breakfast - juice, yogurt/granola/lots of fresh fruit parfait, omelet with cheese and vegetables, grits, biscuit French toast, bacon. Lovely atmosphere, all wood but not overwhelming. Each bedroom little different from the others. Even the other guests were very happy and friendly. Definitely recommend it.

From the time my mom and I walked in the door, we were greeted with the warmest and friendliest guest service! Beth showed us around and took us up to our room and explained everything we needed to know. The Inn is absolutely picturesque with all the right touches. The dinner was fantastic and Valarie was an excellent server as well as the bartender and the rest of the staff. Our room was perfect! The beds were soft and comfortable and the room was immaculate. Breakfast was amazing, I cant even describe how good it was, plus, Beth was on top of everything making sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. I will definitely be back, but for a longer stay! Thanks to everyone for making my birthday the best yet!!
