Oh my! Such a cute little place! The hot tub was a very nice perk. We were walking distance to most everything. The staff were awesome and very informative.

Motel is so cute! LOVE the old nostalgic feel. This is not a fancy, upscale hotel. It is a very clean, quaint motel like I remember from my youth. Very friendly staff. Very convenient location. General store with a deli and more selections than you can imagine is right across the street. This is more reminiscent of the good old days when people slowed down and enjoyed life. HIGHLY recommend staying at The Heidi in Helen.

The decor is a little dated but gives the room character. The room was spotlessly clean and the manager was attentive but not aggressive. The location is perfect on the edge of town and across from the grocery store that has an amazing beer and wine section. Definitely will stay here when we go back.

This was our first stay at the Heidi after going to Helen for many many years. I am so disappointed that we did not book here sooner! We stayed in the king suite with the heart shaped jacuzzi and it was perfect. I loved how spacious the room was and it was extremely clean. It was also very quiet. Being Oktoberfest, that is so hard to find! The staff also went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. This is a new tradition for us!

I was pleased with our visit. Very clean and could tell it had been recently painted and making improvements to update. I was very disappointed that the outdoor swimming pool that was advertised, had been filled in and was none existent. The attendant on duty said they had new ownership and was suppose to get a new pool next year. That will be a nice then, but it did not help me today.

Definitely a must stay. My room was impeccably clean and well equipped. The staff were very welcoming. I am looking forward to many more trips. Walkable to everything. If i could give more stars, i would. You certainly hate to leave. Very quiet location yet convenient.

The location is very convenient. We brought our daughters and walked almost everywhere. The staff was friendly and fantastic. The room is very nice. Loved the mini-fridge and microwave, allowed us to save some money by eating in the room. The water pressure in the shower is perfect and water got to temp fast. We brought our cat with us. There is a $25 fee for a pet, which is not bad at all. If you're looking for a Hampton Inn or Hyatt, this isn't it. If you want a nice and cozy spot that's still very close to everything, then it's perfect.

We got the room under the windmill with the heart shaped jacuzzi. It was the cutest little room I have ever been in! I loved the fireplace and how tastefully decorated the room was. The bed was super comfortable and the hot tub.. Oh it was magnificent! I can't wait to come back and stay again!

This hotel is located right on the end of the main strip in Helen. There is excellent walking access to all of the attractions in town. The hotel itself was fine with limited services. Nothing special but nothing really to complain about either.

We visited Helen for our 33rd anniversary trip and stayed in the queen suite in the windmill. It is so adorable! The room , kitchenette, and bathroom were very clean and spacious. We used the fireplace, so perfect on a chilly night.
The hotel is situated very near the center of Helen, easily walked. We walked to town every day, enjoying the wonderful views.
We will be back to Helen, and will definitely atelier stay in the windmill again!response / report this review -

Sweet, comfy little hotel right in the CENTER of Helen which is wonderful!
Right across the street is Betty's supermarket so if you need any food or drinks you can walk right across and get what you need.
It's a nice hotel, we enjoyed our stay here and will be returning soon.response / report this review
