  Talked to the owner, she's very nice and polite. Gave us a map of the area. The wine tasted fantastic. Overall would go again.

  Just returned from a weekend retreat and wine tasting tour at Sylvan Valley Lodge near Helen, Georgia. We chose this spot because of it's central location to many of the North Georgia wineries we planned to visit. We were enchanted with the accommodations, the yummy made-to-order breakfasts and the warm hospitality of the owners. We stayed in Cabin 21 which had been freshly renovated - comfy furniture, room to spread out and a balcony all our own. We arrived in time for a tasting of the Lodge's own wine label, Frolicking Faerie. The owners are just completing a wedding special event spot which is picture perfect.

  Friendly and welcoming owners, comfortable rooms, and great scenery. The breakfast is delicious. We got the add on for the in house tasting, cheese/meat plate, and the picnic basket for the next day. Definitely worth it. We haven't even left yet and I'm already thinking about our next visit!
