We spent the weekend in the honeymoon cabin and it was an awesome experience. The place is very nice, very well taken Care of, the brekfast was excellent. Much better than the big typical chain hotels The staff is super friendly. Darlene, Sheila and Tery the owner, they all have very good customer serviceand mama beard and her cubs were impressive.

The Black Forest Bed and Breakfast was wonderful, a place I will definitely visit again. The staff was awesome, they remember their guests and the needs of each guest. The room I stayed in was the Bear Cabin and it was perfect. The room was clean and fresh looking and smelling. They provide plenty of towels, and other items you may forget; corkscrew, bath beads, and paper towels. The jacuzzi tub was my favor part of the room, it had a running waterfall behind the tub. They advertise these cabins for romantic getaway; however, I went to Helen, Ga to get some much-needed rest. I did not feel awkward because I was not part of a couple, they welcomed me and made me feel like I was home. I am not much of a breakfast person; however, you will become one after having breakfast at the Black Forrest Bed and Breakfast. Each morning we had eggs, bacon, sausage, different types of pancakes, and grits. There were coffee and different types of juices. In addition, they had little snacks such as protein bars, danishes, cinnamon rolls, and coffee cake for the people on the run. If you are looking for a great vacation spot in Helen, I strongly suggest you try Black Forest Bed and Breakfast, you will not be sorry.

Great B&B! Comfortable beds, lovely jacuzzi tub & plenty of room!
Wonderful staff! Terry and the ladies were very accommodating. I have dietary restrictions and they went above and beyond to make sure I'd have something to eat.

This place was amazing and our room is incredible. We had an awesome view from our room. As the staff will tell you though, do not book upper floors unless you are prepared to climb the stairs, it's well worth the climb though. It is also within walking distance of pretty much everything there is to see on the main strip. Definitely an awesome spot!!!

I can't say enough about how wonderful our stay was here. The staff was more than friendly/professional making sure we had enough for breakfast and that we had fresh towels when we needed them. We rented one of the bigger rooms and wow it was great for the price nestled up and away from the hustle and bustle of the main strip in town but well within walking distance from everything. I would defiantly recommend this place to anyone who doesn't mind climbing a few stairs.

Excellent location. Rooms are very nice and comfy. The home made breakfast is amazing. Our cabin was on third floor. All stairs. No elevator. But it's worth it. Highly recommended.

This place is wonderful. Clean, pleasant staff and reasonably priced. The spa tubs are a great addition, and the cabins are just the right size for 2 people.

Awesome little getaway. Walking distance to all the town has to offer, yet quiet enough to feel secluded. The nicest folks are ready to help you find something to do or cook you some delicious breakfast! I felt right at home the whole time and couldnt be happuer with where we stayed.

I would like to give this place 1 star so that I never have any competition going there. If you are looking for a kitschy, surreal, amazing cheesy experience, this is it. My lady and I ended up here on a random escape; we are hooked. So much to say, but I'll leave it at that. Stay away! So that I always have a place to run away to!

The Black Forest Inn has been our go to place in Helen for 10 plus years! We always stay in the Out of Africa room when available but have stayed in almost every one of the rooms. Art and & Louann are awesome owners and Paul is an amazing property manager. Breakfast is always fresh and inviting. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this B&B to anyone wanting a relaxing get away.
