Dirty, Poor service, stayed one night and canceled for the rest. Chose to drive the hour from Albany to stay at a nicer hotel. All other hotels were sold out in George. Do not recommend unless you want bed bug's and ants.

This place should be ashamed of themselves! Charging for 4 nights when we never checked in. Initially we tried to add a day and they never got back to us after them saying they would call back after an hour. Would not refund our money, took over a week of them picking up and hanging up immediately, front old women lying through her teeth. For a pet and family friendly lodge this is a joke. We will NEVER do business with ANY travel lodge!

We were very excited to travel for our 5 year wedding anniversary. When we arrived in the parking lot i got scared, the outside had garbage from people left, the grounds looked very old. When we went into our room it smelled musty and like pet pee. The walls were filthy, stains on carpet, paint all chipping, carpet fringe by door, and the beds were tiny and extremely uncomfortable. The " hot" breakfast that was advertised on the billboard was not hot bagels, muffin, and waffle if that considered hot breakfast. I was very upset that this is what i got and the price was not cheap. Area hotels that were clean, up to date were same price. Look elsewhere

This place should be condemned. Absolutely disgusting ! Last weekend I booked this for my parents last minute . There were no vacancy at other places I called . It's was filthy , smelled like mildew ( my dad was so congested the whole weekend) the sheets were dirty that my parents put their shirt over the pillow and slept fully clothed , the AC was so loud my parents couldn't sleep so they had to shut it off for the night and the room was never cleaned , bed spread just thrown over bed , garbage not emptied and dirty towels that my parents used were still on the floor and weren't removed from the room . We went to speak with the manager and the young girl in office was rude and we waited over 20 minutes to speak with manager. And we weren't the only ones complaining, the people next to my moms room felt exactly the same . I wouldn't even have my dogs stay there . It's unfortunate because the view from this dump is beautiful. They seriously need to knock this place down .

I'm leaving a 5 star review not because it's a 5 star hotel but because it was a great deal for the price. Far from luxurious or comfy, but hey, clean enough and served the purpose of staying for one night on a budget. Can't beat a $20 fee for two dogs either, usually it's $25 per pet. There's always coffee available and a modest breakfast that's better than nothing. Would stay again!

The hotel is decent, the room is in solid condition and the same could be said for the bathroom. However they should have provided at least a microwave

A bit run down, but clean and professional. Great for large groups as noise making at night is not an issue. Wi-Fi was flaky but they mentioned having issues when we arrived.

The staff is very accomodating, efficient and friendly. The free breakfast offered had a big variety of breakfast items, and more than enough to go around.
While the rooms are not up to date, the homey feel and service make up for it. After all you are only sleeping and showering in thereThe mountain and lakeview COMPLETELY make up for it. The view is PEACEFUL & AMAZING!!!
Pricing was very affordable and makes it easier to be able to do all the activities offered in the area. I would definitely return!!
